About me

Hi, I’m Pamela. Are you navigating a major life transition, feeling overwhelmed in your role as a parent or caregiver, or simply seeking support as you move through a challenging season? Welcome. Life can be both beautiful and messy, and sometimes, we all need a safe place to land. I have deep respect for the unique experiences each person brings to therapy, shaped by culture, identity, family dynamics, and personal history. Whether you're supporting a newborn, raising a teenager, caring for yourself or a loved one, or confronting a personal or parenting challenge, I’m here to walk alongside you. My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and curiosity. I strive to empower you by honoring your strengths and supporting your goals, while helping you work through the barriers that may be holding you back. With experience as an Infant Development Specialist, Infant-Parent Mental Health Specialist, Lactation Specialist, Parent Educator, and School-Based Therapist, I bring a wide and inclusive lens to our work together — one that embraces individuals and families of all ages, stages, and backgrounds. In our time together, we’ll focus on building practical tools, developing coping strategies, and gently challenging unhelpful thought patterns. My goal is to offer you a space filled with warmth, humor, and understanding — where you can explore, grow, and heal. I look forward to connecting with you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions and talk about what brought you to therapy. You’ll have the space to share any immediate concerns, goals, or hopes for the process. My role is to listen with care and curiosity, ask thoughtful questions, and begin to understand your unique story. From there, we can begin developing an individualized plan tailored to your needs, which we’ll refine together over time. Most importantly, I aim to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe, seen, and heard.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have extensive experience in infant-parent mental health and specialize in helping caregivers nurture secure, healthy relationships with their children — a foundation that supports emotional well-being throughout life. My background also includes work as a School-Based Therapist, where I supported adolescents through a wide range of emotional and developmental challenges. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the human experience and strengthened my ability to connect with individuals at all ages and stages. Whether you're navigating early parenthood, adolescence, adulthood, or family relationships, I bring a relational, developmentally informed lens to support meaningful growth and change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals across the lifespan, supporting parents, caregivers, couples, families, and children through developmental and relational challenges. I have specialized training in infant-parent mental health and experience as a School-Based Therapist, and I’m committed to fostering secure, healthy connections at every stage of life. I’m especially well-suited to work with clients who are navigating life transitions, experiencing parenting stress, attachment disruptions, or relationship difficulties. Many of my clients are seeking a supportive, nonjudgmental space to strengthen connections, build emotional insight, and develop practical tools for growth and resilience.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

What we THINK affects how we FEEL, how we FEEL affects our BEHAVIOR and the choices we make. Additionally, it influences the stories we tell ourselves about life and about ourselves. This is the essence of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT Therapy can provide mechanisms and tools to help you "reframe" your outdated, misinformed thoughts and lead you to healthier ways of thinking, feeling and being!

Motivational Interviewing

"Motivational Interviewing is a particular way of talking with people about change and growth to strengthen their own motivation and commitment." Motivational Interviewing is an effective intervention strategy for addressing several behavioral, physical, and mental health conditions. Instead of relying on the advice of a counselor, motivational interviewing enables clients to find their own reasons to make positive changes that will improve their well-being.

Pamela has been wonderful. Best therapy experience that I’ve had. Kind, detail oriented—great recollection of what we’ve covered. Cuts through to the core. Empowering.
