Welcome! My name is Christi Wolesky and I am an empathetic LCSW (licensed Clinical Social Worker). I received my Master's of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Upon graduation I worked in the mental health field in various positions for 14 years, and I have been practicing therapy for approximately 10 years. It takes strength and courage to seek therapy. I provide in-person or tele-therapy in a warm, friendly, and safe environment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session I will discuss confidentiality, mandatory reporting, and discuss how we can work together in a therapeutic relationship. I begin by getting to know the client, and building trust and rapport. I will complete a full assessment and gather background information from your life. It is important for me to understand where you have come from and where you would like to go in the future. We will develop therapy goals together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have an extensive background as a social worker, and I have worked in several different states and social work settings. I have worked with many different socio-economic backgrounds and many different ethnic groups. My varied background has given me an open-mind allowing me to connect with all types of people. I pride myself on being professional, trustworthy, friendly, and respectful to all clients. I want clients to feel comfortable with me so they get the most out of their therapy experience.
