Hello there my name is Blake and I look forward to getting to know and work with you. I've been fortunate enough to work with all age ranges for the past 7 years providing assistance to those struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidality, post-traumatic stress, as well as grief and loss. I enjoy working alongside my clients utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve the quality of life and reinstall a healthy and sustainable trajectory.
Our first session will encompass reviewing your expectations and hopes for therapy. Completing the intake reviewing the assessment tools you completed and creating a therapeutic goal to help guide and focus future sessions.
My biggest strength is that I am approachable and easy to talk to on account of my ability to use active listening. My hope is to help you feel heard, provide fresh and honest insight, as well as set up sustainable and healthy habits to improve your quality of life.
The clients I have most often worked with are those suffering with depression and anxiety. Oftentimes the most effective solutions are so basic they go unnoticed and unaddressed. Clients who are motivated and willing to engage in therapy and implement healthy coping skills have found the most success in and more importantly outside of therapy.

CBT is helpful in exploring how the impact of thoughts, feelings, and actions combine to effect your current outcome and more importantly how challenging negative/unhelpful thoughts can positively impact both mood and behavior to find yourself in a more favorable situation.
