Hi! My name is Ana Maria. I received my master's degree in social work from California State University of Long Beach. I have been practicing social work for the last 17 years. I have worked with adults going through depression and anxiety by providing support and discussing coping skills that can help them improve their mood, relationships and quality of life. I also collaborate with clients helping them to identify clients' strengths and resources to solve their problems.
Please note that I am currently not able to complete any letters, reports or forms including but not limited to leave of absence and FMLA.
Hi, I'm Jaclyn, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, perfectionism, and self-esteem. I am passionate about helping people build a healthier relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves so they can spend less time struggling and more time engaging in the things that matter most to them.
Many of the clients I work with feel exhausted by constant self-criticism, food and body thoughts, anxiety, or the pressure to get everything "right." They may find themselves stuck in cycles of restriction, binge eating, emotional eating, people-pleasing, or perfectionism, despite their best efforts to change. My goal is to help clients better understand the patterns keeping them stuck while developing practical tools to create meaningful and lasting change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, self-compassion work, and values-based approaches to help clients develop greater awareness, emotional resilience, and flexibility. I believe that lasting change is most sustainable when it comes from a place of understanding and self-compassion rather than shame or self-judgment.
Therapy with me is not about achieving perfection. Instead, it is about learning how to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, self-awareness, and kindness toward yourself. Whether you are struggling with an eating disorder, body image concerns, anxiety, or feeling disconnected from yourself, I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can occur.
Reaching out for support can be difficult, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
This sounds polished for Grow while still feeling like you—warm, compassionate, and clearly focused on eating disorders and body image work.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 35 years of clinical experience and an additional background in integrative and functional medicine. I take a holistic mind-body approach to therapy, recognizing the connection between emotional health, physical wellness, stress, lifestyle, and nervous system functioning. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, chronic pain, life transitions, and relationship challenges, using evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. My goal is to help clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and practical tools for lasting healing and personal growth.
I am a holistic psychotherapist with openings for women in their 20s who feel deeply, tend to spin on thoughts, and live in a world that often tells them they are too sensitive or too much.
Maybe you have felt misunderstood and too emotional for family or friends. Maybe you are questioning yourself or your path and need someone to hold space for your unique perspective and ideas.
Your sensitivity is not a flaw. It is intelligent design, a navigation system that has been trying to protect you. In weekly sessions we slow down enough to hear what your nervous system, relationships, and body have been saying. The Re-Align Circle for Sensitive & Strong Women in Their 20s is here as well: a place to remember you are reminded that you are not alone and your sensitivity is respected.
If you are longing for a place where your depth makes sense, I would be honored to see whether we are a fit. Telehealth available for residents of California, Massachusetts, and Arizona.

Hi there, I am Joanna
Have you ever gone to therapy and found it hard to open up because the sessions appear rigid and impersonal, and maybe you felt judged? In my practice is my goal to lead sessions in a non-judgmental way, with the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives. I like to describe my relationship with clients as a relationship among equals. My role in the session is to help you process some of the challenges you are experiencing and offer skills that can help create the change you want to see in your life. My theoretical orientation is dialectical behavioral therapy and I try to hold the balance between acceptance and change, this means accepting that although things might be difficult at this moment we can learn new behaviors so life can be improved. My goal is to help clients increase their overall satisfaction in life and relationships. I am also trained in trauma work to help clients process traumatic experiences.

I focus on these challenges as a stepping stone to self awareness and growth by helping my clients understand emotions as pathway to growth and change. Even the most "educated and successful" of us need to step back and take a look at our lives and see stumbling blocks as an opportunity rather than a reason to give up!

Hello! My name is Brenda and I am a licensed clinical social worker. As a dedicated and empathetic mental health professional with over 7 years of experience, I am deeply committed to helping adolescents and young adults navigate their emotional and psychological challenges. My journey into therapy began with a profound personal interest in understanding human behavior and a desire to support others in their pursuit of mental well-being.
I have been in the psychology field for over 20 years now. I love what I do and helping every client become successful. The relationship between the client(s) and myself is important in achieving the goals we set together. How our past experiences have influenced our current lives is a key issue. I feel that support systems in our daily lives are important to examine. The issues of separation, loss, freedom, dependence and independence are crucial to examine as one leaves home and parental influences. I work with individuals, couples, teens and families.
Every session is different because every client is different, as are their problems. I'll encourage you to talk and explore, in a structured way, your feelings and experiences. Whatever the technique or clinical approach, psychotherapy is not a magical cure, it is a process to help you find the capacity for improvement within yourself.
Psychotherapy aims to help you gain insight into your difficulties or distress and enable you to find more appropriate ways of coping or bring about changes in your thinking and behavior. Psychotherapy involves exploring feelings, beliefs, thoughts and events, sometimes from childhood, in a structured way to help you do it safely.
I have a website that has 16 courses on it for you to do self paced sessions. I also have book I wrote on that website. If you are interested in taking a look, just copy and paste the link into your search bar. Here is the website: https://amber-bersi-mft.mykajabi.com/
Over human history, people have mostly lived in close-knit communities. This has eroded with the advances in transportation and technology. Most people have lost much of the social support our forebearers enjoyed. Mental Health Professionals have taken on this role in their respective communities and are an excellent resource for you to realize your strengths and improve your well-being. When your car breaks down you take it to a mechanic. When your tooth hurts you see a dentist. When your mental health can use a “tune-up,” see a Mental Health Professional!
I take a strength based approach to therapy, focusing on the strengths, values, and resilience you already have rather than only on problems. Together, we build on what is working to help you navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. This approach supports growth that feels both practical and personally aligned with who you are and your goals.
Hello. I chose to become a therapist after recognizing its value as a tool for managing life's challenges. I am committed to fostering self-growth and exploration. Together, we can help to get you to a better place.

I like to incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy techniques, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy during sessions.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who have spent years taking care of everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. They often appear successful on the outside but privately feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who they used to be.
You may be recovering from betrayal, navigating a difficult relationship or divorce, struggling with perfectionism or people-pleasing, healing from trauma, or facing a major life transition. Together, we'll make sense of the patterns keeping you stuck, calm your nervous system, reduce shame, strengthen healthy boundaries, and build the confidence to make choices that align with your values instead of fear or self-doubt.
