Hi there, I am Joanna
Have you ever gone to therapy and found it hard to open up because the sessions appear rigid and impersonal, and maybe you felt judged? In my practice is my goal to lead sessions in a non-judgmental way, with the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives. I like to describe my relationship with clients as a relationship among equals. My role in the session is to help you process some of the challenges you are experiencing and offer skills that can help create the change you want to see in your life. My theoretical orientation is dialectical behavioral therapy and I try to hold the balance between acceptance and change, this means accepting that although things might be difficult at this moment we can learn new behaviors so life can be improved. My goal is to help clients increase their overall satisfaction in life and relationships. I am also trained in trauma work to help clients process traumatic experiences.

If you are a resident in the states of California or Colorado, and are interested in finding out more about or scheduling mental health or addictions or substance abuse treatment services, Shauna accepts private insurances and self-pay clients. The first session is the clinical intake assessment. Shauna schedules directly in her practice, through direct messaging communications only (text message, email, during appointments scheduling next appointments), and not through the Grow Therapy or Google Calendar despite the calendar showing availability.
Please contact Shauna through text or email to schedule your first appointment for the clinical intake assessment, or should you have any questions or concerns. Whether you’re working to improve a relationship, make a difficult decision, break unhealthy patterns, or face a personal challenge, you deserve support — and change is possible. I help clients identify patterns in their struggles and successes, so they can understand themselves more fully and move forward with greater clarity and strength.
My therapeutic approach draws from evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, attachment theory, psychodynamic principles, and strength-based practices. Together, we’ll focus on building self-compassion while working through the areas that feel stuck or painful.
In session, I am an active and engaged therapist. I bring warmth and compassion, and I’m also direct when needed — offering honest feedback in the spirit of growth and support. We will co-create a space where you feel safe, respected, and free of judgment — a space to explore, reflect, and begin to ease emotional pain.
In addition to English, I speak and write fluently in Farsi. I work exclusively with individual adults.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with over 25 years of experience working as a therapist in private practice. I have worked with a wide variety of clients, ages 8 to 80, who struggle with depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and trauma.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. At times, I may utilize humor to highlight a concern, at other times I may be more directive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach to therapy while incorporating natural and holistic styles in treatment. I also believe in matching the treatment style to the person and not the person to the treatment style.
It takes courage to take steps towards change. I am here to listen and offer my support and guidance every step of the way.
As a psychologist who has been licensed for 27 years, I have been honored to work with a wide variety of people. I enjoy working with a diverse group of clients ranging in age from young adulthood to seniors. Hi, I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in California. The population I serve are children, adolescents, and young to older adults. I can help make an impact serving this population by providing psycho-education, using evidenced based interventions, teaching safe and healthy coping skills, and assigning light homework for those who are interested. When life's challenges - work, relationships, money troubles, illness or injury become too much to manage, or when the pain of the past pops up when you least expect it to disrupt sleep, or when daily stressors build up and make it hard to cope, that's when more than a friendly ear is needed. That's when a professional can help you heal the compounding effects of life experiences.
If you are seeking long-term relief from anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, grief or loss, I will help you heal those emotional injuries that compound over a lifetime and make life lose its meaning. And I will empower you to heal the emotional pain that is preventing you from living your best life.
Hi! I’m a licensed psychotherapist (LPCC) based in Berkeley CA and serving clients statewide via Telehealth. I have over 20 years of experience working and volunteering in community mental health, and have been practicing as a psychotherapist since January 2018. I received my MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in 2019, and my BA in Psychology from Reed College in 2010. I have been licensed since February 2023.
I am trained as an integrative psychotherapist and work relationally and holistically. I believe all facets of life are (naturally) interrelated--relational, emotional, physical/physiological, cognitive, cultural, societal/political, spiritual, existential... I incorporate orientations, frameworks and insights from across the field: attachment-based (psychodynamic), somatic (Polyvagal, Somatic Experiencing, neuroscience), humanistic, mindfulness, gestalt, self-psychology, ACT, DBT, CBT, systems, existential, holistic/spiritual perspectives and wisdom like Buddhism, narrative, human needs perspectives like self-determination theory, communication frameworks like NVC and insights from the Gottmans, and paradigms and perspectives on social justice like feminism, analysis of power and privilege, intersectionality, intergenerational and societal trauma, psychological/emotional/verbal abuse, narcissism/scapegoating/othering etc.
I am guided by a trauma-informed approach that aims to foster empowering client-centered, collaborative, transparent and intersubjective relational conditions that I believe support people’s natural ability to experience safety, connection, and authentic actualization. My work is informed by a lifetime of deep inquiry into human needs and the complex ways familial, social, cultural, economic and biological contexts inform how they may be nurtured, supported, neglected or actively or insidiously contravened. I believe that human attachments and early life experiences, as well as structural power dynamics in social/societal systems, are typically foundationally informative to the bridge or gap between trauma/suffering and thriving in safety and connection. I think humanness and understanding of / respect for these facts, alone, can be a healing provision of therapy relationship.
I take a strength based approach to therapy, focusing on the strengths, values, and resilience you already have rather than only on problems. Together, we build on what is working to help you navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. This approach supports growth that feels both practical and personally aligned with who you are and your goals.
Welcome! If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or going through a life transition, you’re not alone. I offer a collaborative approach to therapy that moves beyond labels and one-size-fits-all solutions. Together, we’ll work toward understanding what’s happening, what you want to change, and what can help you move forward.
I work with individuals, including young adults and women navigating different stages of life such as college, career changes, and parenthood. My approach is goal-oriented and draws from systemic, solution-focused, and problem-solving therapies, always taking your unique experiences, strengths, and goals into account.
Please note: I am not currently accepting new couples.

Hi, I’m Jamie.
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California with over 10 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Prior to practicing in California, I worked as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York and earned my Master’s in Counseling and Community Psychology from The Sage Colleges in Albany, New York.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted without judgment. My approach is collaborative and person-centered, recognizing that you are the expert on your own life. I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, support, insight, and practical tools.
A phrase that guides both my personal life and my work is *“Remember the Goal.”* To me, this means staying connected to what matters most, even when life feels overwhelming. Growth isn’t always linear, but with support and intention, you can keep moving forward one step at a time.
It’s a privilege to be invited into each person’s story, and I would be honored to walk alongside you in yours.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my Masters from California State University, Fullerton, and have been practicing for 7 years. I help couples and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma related symptoms navigate these different challenges. I will accept you, validate you, challenge you, but most importantly, give you a space to be all that you are.
I have been practicing in the field for over a decade. I have specialized training in trauma, addictions, relationship enhancement, marital and premarital. I work with adults, and couples. I have a heart for seeing relationships thrive. I believe Love is Enough. I will walk along side you through transitions, hurt, pain, and making sense of the present and complex situations.
I have been in the psychology field for over 20 years now. I love what I do and helping every client become successful. The relationship between the client(s) and myself is important in achieving the goals we set together. How our past experiences have influenced our current lives is a key issue. I feel that support systems in our daily lives are important to examine. The issues of separation, loss, freedom, dependence and independence are crucial to examine as one leaves home and parental influences. I work with individuals, couples, teens and families.
Every session is different because every client is different, as are their problems. I'll encourage you to talk and explore, in a structured way, your feelings and experiences. Whatever the technique or clinical approach, psychotherapy is not a magical cure, it is a process to help you find the capacity for improvement within yourself.
Psychotherapy aims to help you gain insight into your difficulties or distress and enable you to find more appropriate ways of coping or bring about changes in your thinking and behavior. Psychotherapy involves exploring feelings, beliefs, thoughts and events, sometimes from childhood, in a structured way to help you do it safely.
I have a website that has 16 courses on it for you to do self paced sessions. I also have book I wrote on that website. If you are interested in taking a look, just copy and paste the link into your search bar. Here is the website: https://amber-bersi-mft.mykajabi.com/

Hi, I'm Amanda, and I help people exhausted from fighting their mind finally find peace with it.
By the time most people find me, they're worn down—not just by overwhelm and defeat, but by the effort of white-knuckling it. Capable on the outside. Exhausted on the inside. Wondering if this is just who they are.
That’s not the whole story
I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual work with adults, parents, and caregivers. Over the past 15 years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside hundreds of people as they moved from survival mode to a life that actually feels like their own. I hold a Master's degree from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and I bring both the clinical depth of that training and the wisdom of real-world practice to every session.
My approach is collaborative and personalized — because you're not a diagnosis or a checklist, and therapy shouldn't feel like one. I'm a creative thinker by nature, and I use that to bring fresh perspectives to our work together, while also providing the structure and direction that meaningful progress requires. In our early sessions, we'll take time to understand what's really going on and build a clear, intentional plan that fits your life. Most of my clients notice a real, positive shift within the first month.
A steady, meaningful life isn't something other people get to have. It belongs to you, too. If you're ready to stop managing and start actually living, I'd love to connect.

I am here to listen with an open ear, and heart, without judgement, but with compassion and support. Coming to therapy can be an intimidating first step that can lead to life changing results. I will be your sounding board. We will work together to identify and navigate unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors that get in the way of you living a life that represents your long term values.
Therapy is a place to provide tools that help you develop coping skills, regulate emotions, and decrease overall destress in a safe space. Whether you are in therapy for 2 years or 2 months, I want you to be well equipped to weather any life challenge with a sense of ease and confidence.
I believe in being transparent with my clients and providing in the moment realistic feedback. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible and leave each therapy session feeling like you gained insight or a skill you didn't have previously. Ultimately, my goal, is that you feel empowered, and utilize the skills you learn in therapy throughout your life.

I began my career working with youth and families in residential settings, where I saw firsthand the impact our experiences can have on how we move through the world. My own life experiences also shaped my path to becoming a therapist and taught me the importance of feeling seen, understood, and supported. Over the years, this has shaped an approach that looks at the whole person—their story, strengths, relationships, and the experiences that have made them who they are.
Hello, I’m Sascha,
If you’re here, you’ve already taken an important step toward prioritizing your mental health. Beginning therapy can bring up a mix of emotions...empowerment, uncertainty, even hesitation—and all of that is valid.

My background includes work in county-based services, nonprofit mental health, foster care, and school settings. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals across a wide range of needs and life circumstances.
I believe that people generally have an internal sense of what they need and where they want to go, but at times can feel stuck or unsure how to move forward. My role is to help you gain clarity around what may be contributing to that feeling and to work collaboratively with you to develop practical, meaningful ways to navigate challenges.
Life stressors such as relationship dynamics, limited support systems, past experiences, and difficulties with emotional regulation can all impact our ability to function in the ways we want. In our work together, I aim to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore these areas and move toward greater stability, insight, and fulfillment.
