Couples: I am TAKING Couples again. However only on Cash Pay basis. This is how it will work: You can schedule with me an hour consultation, you don't both have to be present, for this Consultation. From there we will meet 5 to 6 times for 1.5 hour sessions. It is very difficult to have Couples sessions within 60 min. The Cash pay is $250.00 for the 1.5 hour sessions. I understand the cost can be a deterrent in seeking help, however if you are both committed to doing the work 5 to 6 sessions should be productive and enough to see changes.
Individuals: Of course I am still taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers.
Sometimes our own mental health can influence all of our relationships, and you may need coping techniques for anxiety and or depression type symptoms. I will work with you individually to help you gain insight to your own behavior that may be influencing your relationship.
I am here to help with coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.
I have experience working with children, families, and individuals as a social worker since 2003, and as a licensed clinical social worker since 2017. My goal in my counseling is to help my clients live deeply fulfilling lives. I help clients increase their psychological flexibility through various tools and approaches including evidence-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to change their thought patterns. I use experiential approaches including Hypnotherapy to work with subconscious minds and remove blocks that are deep in their psyche. Each individual's struggles are complex and tied to many factors including their social environment, their physical health, the phases of their lives, skills they already possess, etc. In other words, change can happen in a variety of ways and that's what counseling can help with, pointing out the direction and even the next steps that can help the client to get to their goals and intentions.
I work with clients experiencing sleep disorders, chronic pain, anxiety, mood issues, ADHD, career counseling, and those who simply need a tune-up.
Greetings! I have relished working in this field for over 30 years and my practice has only gotten better over time--as I grow. Starting off my career in the field of Addiction Medicine assisting with patients embracing their own recovery over time. Through that lens my areas of expertise expanded: finding many people had other addictive/compulsive behaviors, mental health issues, childhood trauma, (including the impact of racism, sexism and homophobia). My patients have found psychoeducation incredibly useful.
There is no question in my mind regarding the power of therapy can be an extraordinary avenue for healing, self-identity development and living more intentionally versus living by default. Together we will carve out the style that works for you. Many of the people I work with work a recovery program in AA (Alcholics Anonymous/NA etc.), ACA (Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families), Al Anon--which have accelerated their healing and assisted immeasurably in our work together.
Spirituality can be a wellspring of hope and vitality in our work together. Learning to treat oneself with gentleness, humor love and respect is the practice I hope to instill within my people over time. I learned for myself when starting my journey that all I needed to be was honest, openminded and willing (HOW) and it's working!

Hello, I'm David.
Do you have a change you are facing and are unsure about which direction to go? Are you questioning your identity or aspects of who you are? Are you facing struggles that feel too large to conquer? Are stressors weighing you down?
I help clients navigate these tough questions and work together to understand how to face these challenges. Exploring the choices together and discovering a path that resonates with you. I use a whole-person approach to unlock who you want to be and I will walk alongside as your journey unfolds.
The challenges of today can become the strengths of tomorrow! Let’s work together to find that peace of mind you are looking for.
Do you struggle with motivation and focus troubles that affects more than just your ability to get your homework done? Do you feel overwhelmed by basic tasks that you can’t seem to get started? Do you ever wonder that life could be better, your mind a little quieter? Now more than ever, young adults are feeling overwhelmed with the life presented to them.
I believe you can find the motivation to get control of your life again. I work primarily with young adults with ADHD and Anxiety and use a person first approach to therapy. We will start with learning how your struggles manifest uniquely in your life. I then will help you by offering behavioral change tools while also working on the deeper ‘why’ that brings you to treatment. I strive to offer a safe, nonjudgmental, and open place, so you can get the help you need.

Therapy doesn't have to feel stiff or intimidating. I aim to create a space where you can show up as you are—messy thoughts, difficult feelings, awkward questions, and all. My style is warm, personable, and direct, and I believe that meaningful growth happens when you feel both supported and challenged. Humor often has a place in the process, too.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and cross-cultural identity experiences. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure of your next step, we'll work together to better understand what's happening beneath the surface and build practical strategies for moving forward.
I offer in-person therapy in Irvine and online sessions throughout California, providing flexible support wherever you are in your journey.

In addition to having a small private practice shortly after I received my Missouri license in 2007; I have worked as a K-12 school counselor, in substance use treatment, in a residential treatment setting, in a community mental health agency, helping individuals with disabilities transition into the workforce, and helping graduate students manage stress in their professional programs (i.e. medical school, dental school, etc.). Outside of work, spending time with family and friends is important to me. I also enjoy stories, laughing, listening to stand-up comedy, cooking, playing sports like wallyball and ultimate frisbee on a non-competitive level, watching film noir and psychological thrillers, recently had the opportunity to take my car to a racetrack, and have played bass guitar in a rock band.
Hi there and great job on taking that first step in considering if therapy is right for you. I invite you to come with me on a journey of your own choosing where we will walk together in darkness to find the light you’ve been seeking. Whether it’s life’s little annoying stressors or more complex issues, as a trauma survivor myself, I know firsthand what this is like and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Whether you choose me or another therapist, make the choice to just give it a try. Sometimes all you need is another person to hold the light while you do the work you need to heal.
Hello. I am a licensed social worker in California. I began practicing in the mental health/behavioral health field in 2011. I originally was licensed in Maryland in 2015 but then returned to California in 2016. Since starting in the field, I have worked with individuals ranging in age from 4 years old to 75 years old; most experience working with individuals between the ages of 10 and 35. I have experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, depression, anxiety, parenting problems, and relationship issues. I am an ally of the LGBTQI community and can provide a safe, telehealth space for them.
Unfortunately, at this time, I cannot accommodate individuals seeking letters for emotional support animals or those mandated by the court or legal system for therapy.
With that said, my goal in being a counselor, is to assist my clients in meeting their identified treatment needs. I am flexible and willing to do whatever I need to do to assist you and help you in any way that I can.
If when viewing my profile, you feel as though I am a good fit, but my schedule does not meet your scheduling needs, please feel free to send me a message as I may be able to fit you in at a different time. I work evenings and weekends.
Seeking therapy is a courageous first step toward healing. You deserve to feel seen and supported. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, grief, and the lasting effects of difficult experiences. I offer a warm, supportive, therapeutic partnership where you can feel understood and empowered to make meaningful change. I have been practicing for 7 years and while I currently provide Telehealth services, I have experience working across a variety of settings including community mental health agencies, within school systems, and in group practice, which has given me the gift of working with individuals from many different walks of life.
My approach is integrative and strengths-based, meaning I consider how your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences are interconnected while drawing from approaches including CBT, IFS, attachment theory, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help you build insight, develop practical tools, and create lasting change. My name is Patrice Kane and I have been licensed since 2019. I am a compassionate clinician who works with individuals navigating trauma, relationship issues via couples therapy, anxiety, and major life transitions. Hi, I’m Dr. Cathy Evangelatos, I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology.
I also hold a Master’s degree in Theology, enabling me to offer specialized Christian-integrated therapy for clients who desire to integrate their faith into their personal growth and healing.
I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, which provides significantly more rigorous training and expertise than a standard two-year Master’s-level therapist. Psychologists typically complete 5–7+ years of doctoral-level education beyond a bachelor’s degree, with extensive training in evidence-based psychological interventions, assessment, diagnosis, and advanced treatment approaches. In contrast, most Master’s-level therapists (such as MFTs or LCSWs) complete a two-year graduate program focused primarily on relational and family systems work. This advanced doctoral training allows me to deliver deeper, more nuanced, and highly effective care — empowering you to achieve meaningful, lasting change with greater insight, precision, and support than a standard Master’s-level therapist can typically provide.

I understand that asking for help can feel intimidating and deeply vulnerable, and I’m here to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to begin that journey. If you’re ready to start breaking those patterns and building something more stable and fulfilling, I invite you to reach out today. We’ll take the next step together.
Having been married for 50 years and raised four children to adulthood, I bring a wealth of life experience to the therapeutic relationship. There are so many challenges with marriage and raising a family, undergoing therapy myself (both individual and couple) has helped me through many difficult times, and I know what it takes make significant changes in my life. I love animals, and i have two dogs who bring me joy every day. My children and seven grandchildren are very important to my life. One of the benefits of being an older therapist is that I have overcome many of the obstacles that my clients face, and for even those I have not experienced, my clients benefit from the life skills I have developed.
