Welcome to Grow Therapy, I have over 21 years of experience in the field of community mental health. My experience ranges from assessments, crisis evaluations, to individual therapy. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a speciality in depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. I utilize a cognitive behavioral therapeutic approach to therapy to change client’s thought process and behaviors. My efforts in therapy are to build a strong relationship between the client and improve overall well being.
During initial sessions, clients will be informed of the parameters of treatment. In the first session clients will have an opportunity to discuss the situation that brought them to treatment, and explore treatment goals.
My greatest strengths to treatment modalities is the strong therapeutic alliance built between the clients. I utilize a strength based perspective when working with individuals, improving self-esteem and learning coping skills for the challenges of life.
