Do you feel stuck and overwhelmed? Maybe you're noticing the same things happens again and again in your relationships and you don't know how to change it. I can help! I'm Chelsea, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 10 years of experience helping people make sense of their pasts to create the future they dream of. I am a trained EMDR therapist specializing in treating sexual and family violence. I provide virtual therapy to clients throughout California and I create a welcoming and collaborative space for you to safely explore your pain and to achieve healing.
Across my years in the mental health field, I’ve learned that codependency, attachment wounds, and identity-shifting survival patterns don’t just affect our thoughts — they shape our nervous system, our relationships, and the way we move through the world. Healing isn’t just psychological; it’s emotional, somatic, and deeply spiritual.
My work integrates all three. I help individuals understand the parts of themselves that learned to over-function, people-please, or over-attach for safety, and guide them toward a life led by inner alignment, self-trust, and grounded confidence rather than fear.
DISCLAIMER: Please do not book me based off of ratings or reviews. Your experience with me will be personal and UNIQUE to YOUR needs, not someone else's needs or experience. Please book me if you perceive I am the right TOOL to use and help you reach your INDIVIDUAL goals. Book me if you are seeking an action-oriented therapist who provides HOMEWORK! Book me if you have insight about your situation, some history with therapy, are seeking solution-focused steps, and are not seeking someone to solely affirm you. I may or may not be the best therapist for newcomers (depends on you) as I ask a lot of questions, which can overwhelm you if you are not used to being questioned. Questioning is to understand you and get to the root of the problem, as well as the excuses used to perpetuate the problem. I am not interested in treating symptoms but rather getting to the core of the problem. If you don't want to do the work, I am just an expensive "Friend". So please be sure that you understand my style before booking me ;-). I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The only way out of pain is through. Not above, below, around but through.. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) (LCPC) (LPC) (LMHC) licensed in various states. I received my Masters from Avila University in Kansas City and have been practicing for over a decade. I'm a licensed therapist with 20+ years of experience specializing in OCD and anxiety. I treat intrusive thoughts, ROCD, harm OCD, moral OCD, and the doubt spirals that make high-functioning people feel completely stuck inside their own heads. But the reason clients say I actually get it isn't the degree — it's that I have OCD myself. I know that experience from the inside. That's the room I work in every day.

Hi there and great job on taking that first step in considering if therapy is right for you. I am a LMFT. I have been a therapist for over 25 years. I have had my practice since 2011. In that time, I have learned and have continued to learn what it takes to become a more effective therapist. During this time, I have treated many people with various issues/challenges that have resulted in positive outcomes. The most important impact for me is being able to see when my client has been able to make changes in their lives where they have improved themselves, found more clarity and continue to seek more improvement.
Hi, I'm Melissa! I'm a therapist in California, and I have 13 years of experience supporting clients of all ages. I specialize in working with young adults, and enjoy helping clients navigate life transitions. My approach integrates practical, day-to-day strategies combined with emotional exploration, helping you gain insights into your thoughts and feelings.
When I'm not wearing my therapist hat, I love reading, watching too much reality TV, and spending time with my family.
You are the one everyone depends on. Impressive on paper, composed on the outside, and carrying far more than most people realize.
You keep showing up and making things work. But privately, you may have the 3 a.m. mental replay, a mind that will not turn off, difficulty setting boundaries, resentment from carrying too much, or the realization that you are everyone's priority except your own.
I'm Dr. Dezetta Burnett, DSW, LCSW. I work with accomplished women and professionals navigating anxiety, overthinking, burnout, relationship patterns, family dynamics, grief, fertility treatment, IVF or IUI, and major life transitions.
I am especially skilled at helping high-functioning adults identify the underlying dynamics that often go unexamined precisely because life on the outside appears successful. You may understand your patterns intellectually and still find yourself repeating them.
My approach is direct, thoughtful, and practical. We look beneath the immediate problem, understand what is driving it, and identify what needs to change. You do not have to be in crisis. Sometimes functioning well is no longer enough.
If you are preparing for or undergoing IVF or IUI and need an earlier appointment, schedule my next available opening and message me. I will do my best to accommodate you sooner.
I help people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental disorders. I help them further develop their mindfulness, assertive communication skills, and capacity for love & respect for themselves, and, consequently, the rest of the world. I don't merely believe in therapy, I know first-hand the beneficial power it can provide. Before seeking mental health services for myself, I not only suffered from low self-esteem, I also experienced severe panic attacks. I am, and forever will be, grateful each and every day that those symptoms now only exist in my past. These are just a few of the reasons why mental health is by far my greatest passion in life.

Exhausted by the way you think about yourself? We are often (if not always) our own worst enemies. Whether this pattern has caused you problems with guilt, shame, anxiety, depression, addiction or you name it - the starting point is generally the same. When we embark on the project of therapy you will be asked to put your painful thoughts and feelings into words. As the process unfolds, the strength and fervor used to overthink and condemn yourself will become accessible to use productively in reaching your goals.

Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I'm a short-term, solution-oriented therapist that focuses on identifying and relieving on mild-to-moderate mental health symptoms, likely related to newer onset life stressors: family and relationship issues, school and work, grief and loss, medical diagnoses, etc. Though I would love to serve all that are seeking mental health therapy, it's important that I remain within my scope of competence and scope of practice. Therefore, I'm ethically unable to accept clients seeking long-term/maintenance care or specialized interventions (e.g., trauma, OCD, etc.).
My approach to therapy tends to resonate best with clients who are moderately motivated to truly seek out solutions to their issues and symptoms, and are willing to do the work- both in session, and out- to achieve the results desired. We collaborate to identify the issues, and put in the actual work to make change for resolution. Though I am a clinician that utilizes evidence-based practices and interventions, I would definitely say I'm also a bit of a life coach!
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with clinical and social services experience - along with years of experience and knowledge of spiritual care (MDiv) - I enjoy partnering in the whole-person healing process. Understanding the person in their environment as well as being enlightened to a their intrinsic qualities, informs the therapeutic process and facilitates an effective healing journey .
I suffer from PTSD and my journey into therapy began with years of denial. As all heroes do I refused the call. Then I started helping others - the immigrant, the unhoused, the addicted - and I saw the beauty of human resilience. I discovered the capacity for compassion, healing, and evolution in others as well as myself. I fully believe therapy has the power to not only help people survive but to thrive.
