About me

Hi! I am a licensed clinical social worker in California with 13 years of experience supporting individuals through a variety of life challenges and transitions. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress and relationship or interpersonal difficulties involving family, friendships, the workplace, and other areas of life. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based clinical practices. Together, we'll work to better understand what you're experiencing, develop practical coping strategies, and build the confidence and skills needed to create meaningful change. My goal is to create a safe environment free of judgement where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable to be yourself.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Taking the first step toward change can feel difficult, but you don't have to navigate it alone. I'm here to support, empower, and walk alongside you throughout that process. During our first session we will start with a brief introduction and then we will go over any questions or concerns that you may have. Next we will talk about the structure of our therapy sessions as well as expectations that you may have for treatment. We will also begin to talk about some of the symptoms that you have been experiencing as well as the challenges that you are facing and explore your goals for therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

During my time as a therapist I have developed the ability to listen and ask questions to better identify the root cause of any of the challenges that you may be experiencing as well as dig in deeper to support you in achieving your goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I serve the adult population, specifically adults experiencing with life changes and having difficulty managing symptoms that impair their ability to live a fulfilling life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Together we will explore your personal goals and how to manage the symptoms that are impacting your everyday life. We will work on developing techniques to manage your automatic beliefs and how they affect your behavior. Our internal dialogue is powerful and together we can change it and build insight and self-awareness that will positively influence our thoughts, emotions, and behavior.

Motivational Interviewing

Together we will build your self-confidence and through the therapy process increase your motivation to take action toward wellness. You will learn how to resolve inner conflicts and empower yourself.

Strength-Based

This is a form of using positive psychology to determine how you can reframe your story and identify skills and resources to help you overcome obstacles in your life. Together we will address barriers in the way of reaching your goals and focus on your inner strength to build a positive mindset.

Elizabeth made me feel safe and comfortable. I found myself opening up to her more at the end of our session and I feel heard. I am glad I booked this appointment and look forward to continuing before I leave.
