Hello there : ) I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I have been practicing for 12 years. I create confidential, non-judgmental, and safe space for you to unpack your thoughts and process your feelings about whatever is causing you to feel sad, stuck, angry, or confused. It is a privilege to be a part of your journey of healing.
During the first session I am getting to know you. I tend to ask questions about your current symptoms, your background, past trauma, and what natural supports you may already have. How did you cope with hard situations in the past? What is different this time? I strive to obtain a holistic picture of you to see how I can best assist.
I am plain spoken, have a good sense of humor, and help people feel at ease.
I am positioned to serve clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, or grief.

Your thoughts affect your feelings, your feelings inform your actions, and your actions determine how you show up in the world. I create space for you to think about what you are thinking about. By doing so you can better identify possible thought distortions and make more helpful choices.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
We will work together from the strengths you already possess to come up with possible solutions to current problems. This form of therapy concentrates on what is happening now and faces forward to the future you wish to have.
Grief Therapy
I support you as you cope with loss. This can be the loss of anyone or anything that was important to you and you are grieving its absence.
Christian Counseling
While I am not a theologian, I can offer support from a Christian based perspective.

i only had one appointment with her so far and she was warm, listened, and she made me feel very comfortable enough to talk about my problems. From the first meeting with her i feel i can say my truth and find some kind of relief

She so far seems like she pays attention to details and clarify ones feelings and makes sure she understands before going on to the next topic or question.
