Hello, I am Kathleen.
Do you feel overwhelmed, burnt out or pulled in a million different directions? Are you struggling with your relationships, work or health? Is it difficult for you to find time for yourself, let alone, be kind to yourself? Do you feel "stuck" and unable to move forward?
Many of us are experiencing loneliness, depression, anxiety and social isolation, so it is important to make caring for yourself a priority. Therapy can help you feel more connected, balanced and peaceful.
Together, we can help identify what is not working and regain a sense of balance. We'll use a holistic approach, addressing the needs of your body, mind and spirit. We will develop a "toolbox" of coping skills and create new insights and awarenesses to help you become a happier and healthier version of yourself.
Seeking therapy can feel threatening but it's one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and by doing so also give to others.
In our sessions, I will meet you with kindness, compassion, humor and evidence-based modalities, so you can overcome obstacles and habits that may be holding you back. My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe, supportive and empathic environment in which to work through current issues, conflicting relationships and/or past pain.
I look forward to meeting you and working together.
Sydelcis Mendez (Syd) is a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in crisis, trauma, anxiety, and stress management as it relates to individuals, couples, and families during life transitions. Raised in the Bronx by her Dominican family, she witnessed the gaps in resources and opportunities for individuals of different backgrounds. Syd became a therapist after seeing the mental health strains in her community and noting the underrepresentation of qualified providers who provided culturally-sensitive treatment and systems-oriented support.
Throughout her career, she has served individuals grappling with substance use challenges, homelessness/transient issues, health concerns, developmental needs, sexual assault, domestic violence, addiction, military service/veteran affairs issues, as well as family or marital challenges.
I have been in the field of mental health for 29 years.
My goal as a therapist is to help you achieve ultimate happiness and peace in your life.
As human beings we can not go back and change our past but we can find the tools that can help us live our lives fully and find the ways to use our full potential. I will listen to you and will try my best to support you in finding the path to happiness by practicing and using the tools and methods that are helpful and tangible.

Welcome! If you are looking for a therapist that is easy to talk to, makes you feel at ease, and has over 17 years of experience and expertise.... you found one! Seeking out a therapist is not a sign of weakness, it indicates that you have been dealing with stressors and/or losses, that have become too much for you to manage on your own. I love what I do because I am able to see my clients transform and grow through the therapy process. Whatever you are going through, I can help you regain your emotional and mental well-being. I obtained my master's from the University of Southern California (USC).

Hi there, I'm Christina. I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist that has been in practice for over 11 years. During our sessions, we'll work at your pace and where you are at emotionally. Creating a safe space filled with compassion and kindness is important to me, plus a mixture of mental health interventions. We'll set a goal and work towards achieving that goal.
Don't worry, we don't have to delve deep into your past if you are not ready. Sometimes there is the need to process what you are going through at the moment and have someone to be there and listen and that's okay too. We can start there.

Are you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of who you are becoming?
Life transitions, relationship struggles, anxiety, grief, identity questions, and existential pain can leave us feeling overwhelmed or lost. Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in a deeper way.
I help individuals of all ages better understand the unconscious patterns that shape their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. Together, we explore what may be keeping you stuck, uncover deeper meaning in your experiences, and create space for healing, growth, and lasting change.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Depth Psychology and Integrative Healing Practices, I offer a holistic approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I believe each person carries an innate capacity for healing, and therapy can help bring that inner wisdom forward. My role is to support you with compassion and insight as you move toward greater clarity, authenticity, and wholeness.
My name is Kristine Fernandez, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the beautiful and sunny state of California. I have worked with all ages and specialize in trauma-informed care by using a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Humanistic therapy to help my client understand patterns and build hope within themselves and others. I want to provide encouragement that you will get through this.
I’m Dr. Andy Davis, a licensed psychologist with 18 years of experience in the mental health field. Thirteen of those years were spent serving in the U.S. Air Force, where I had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
My clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, grief, personality disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, and concerns related to sex and pornography addiction. As a sex-positive therapist, I provide a safe and affirming environment for clients to explore sensitive areas of their lives without fear of judgment.
My therapeutic style is both solutions-focused and rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I believe therapy should be proactive and goal-driven, helping clients not only gain insight but also develop strategies for change. Clients often describe me as direct and honest, while also compassionate and collaborative—I strive to give practical feedback and advice that can be applied both in and outside of sessions.
I especially enjoy working with veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and young adults. These groups often face unique challenges, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside them as they navigate life’s complexities.
In addition to my clinical work, I have an extensive background in clinical research. While serving in the Air Force, I conducted sleep studies and developed modern treatment approaches for PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. This research continues to inform my practice, and I place strong emphasis on developing healthy routines, quality sleep schedules, and consistent self-care as foundations for mental health. I often work with clients to build structure into daily life, recognizing these habits play a powerful role in resilience and long-term well-being.
Above all, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to face challenges, discover new perspectives, and build lasting resilience.
My clients return over the years as life brings new challenges. They trust the work we have done because they have learned to trust who they are. Most of them wonder at first why I focus on the call of the heart. Why I invite them to play. And to make friends with parts of themselves they have been told to get rid of. And it shocks them when they discover they can learn to answer the call of the heart. Because i am older and have a broad spectrum of lived experience as well as an integrative approach, what I have to offer springs more directly from the deep unheard yearning of each unique client, than from one size fits all techniques. The deeper we go the more fun we have.

Congratulations! You have taken the first steps in the journey to your goal(s). I am extremely grateful you are considering me to partner up with. I consider my relationships as instrumental in learning who I am. The relationships that most speak to who I am include being a spouse, father, brother, son, colleague, and friend. My grandparents are deceased. Through these relationships I have learned a great deal.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a first-generation Latina. A lot of the women I work with grew up being the strong one in their family. The one who holds everything together and rarely had space to focus on their own needs.
I understand how complicated family, culture, and identity can be. Many of my clients are navigating the pressure of being first-generation, setting boundaries with family, healing from past experiences, or trying to break patterns that have been passed down for years.
I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and heal from traumatic experiences. In our work together, we move beyond simply talking about the problem. We focus on helping your nervous system release what it has been carrying so you can move forward with more clarity, freedom, and self-trust.
*I've chosen to center my practice on the healing needs of women and the LGBTQIA+ community. I do not currently work with cisgender men, minors, or court-involved clients in order to preserve alignment with my clinical roots*
Do you often feel drained, sad, or unmotivated? What about emotionally unavailable, stressed, or anxious? It is possible that you are being weighed down with constant stress revolving around school, family, or work. Life can get messy and bring even the strongest of people down sometimes. We all need someone who will listen, be non-judgemental and encourage us when we are at our most vulnerable state. This is what therapy is all about. Therapy is a safe place where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without being judged. You will learn healthy ways to cope with your struggles.
I enjoy working side by side and supporting adults who are struggling with self-esteem, stress, anger, anxiety or depression. I believe it is important to build healthy relationships through learning appropriate communication and social skills. My focus is on helping my clients process and identify their repressed emotions through therapeutic strategies such as mindfulness, art therapy, or journaling. As your therapist, it will be my job to equip you with the coping skills needed to aid you as you go through this journey of life.
Hi, I'm Hazel.
I'm a bilingual Asian mental health therapist fluent in both Vietnamese and English, dedicated to supporting neurodiverse adults, including those with ASD, ADHD, and co-occurring conditions. I am also trained in assessing and diagnosing adult ASD and ADHD, and I understand the importance of accurate identification to inform effective treatment.
I am deeply passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals and understanding the unique challenges they face, such as low self-esteem, mood regulation difficulties, relationship struggles, loneliness, stress, executive dysfunction, and rejection-sensitive dysphoria (RSD). I strive to provide a supportive, affirming space where clients can explore these challenges and develop strategies for growth and healing.
In addition, I have extensive experience working in hospice care, which has given me valuable insight into the complex emotions surrounding grief, loss, and mourning. I also specialize in supporting clients through grief, narcissistic abuse and healing, as well as processing trauma. My approach is holistic, emphasizing compassion and understanding through these profound experiences.
Having endured my own share of trauma throughout my life—including experiences with sudden death, betrayal, and resentment—I bring a deep sense of empathy to my work. With a culturally sensitive approach, I aim to create a safe environment where my clients feel seen and supported. My overarching goal is to empower individuals to navigate their challenges, foster resilience, and promote overall well-being. I am committed to breaking down barriers to mental health care and walking alongside my clients through life’s many transitions with sensitivity and care.
My approach draws on psychoanalytic thinking, which revolves on one central idea: much of what we think and feel remains outside of our awareness.
Sometimes we keep powerful feelings hidden so we can continue moving through the day, or we simply cannot find time to reflect on everything that is happening to us.
In any case, keeping these potent experiences hidden may leave us feeling stiff, dreary, unfulfilled, or even numb and dull.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience offering trauma informed and mindfulness based therapy. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment approaches to support clients in better understanding their emotions, developing coping skills that feel usable in daily life, and navigating life’s challenges with greater steadiness. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, attachment styles, and unresolved trauma, with an emphasis on strengthening emotional awareness, building healthier communication skills, and fostering a more compassionate relationship with oneself.

The focus of my practice is centered on healing childhood wounds, and holding intention for my clients to be witnessed. I hold space to process through childhood abuse and other adverse childhood experiences, to explore on a deeper level how one's childhood impacts present day. What childhood wounds are manifesting in ways that no longer serve you? As an adult child-survivor, I hold a deep passion for those who have made the vulnerable choice to heal from the pains of their childhood. One life chapter at a time.
Remember: The trauma that happened to you is not your fault, but what a gift to give yourself to lean into the responsibility of healing from it. Inner-Child Work framework includes: Narrative sharing, trauma and attachment work, CBT, ACT, experience validation, the practice of letting go, the practice of reclaiming, and accountability work.

I also integrate elements of wellness coaching and faith into therapy, supporting clients in creating greater balance, and well-being.

“Sometimes, you have to make a decision that will break your heart but heal your soul.” - Trent Shelton. Sometimes you just can’t. Can’t say no, can’t find motivation, can’t sit through another meeting, can’t stop worrying, can’t wear the mask and pretend to be okay, and/or can’t get out of bed. The list goes on, because at some point or another, we all feel like our struggle is too much to handle. But “trouble don’t last always” and you do not have to face your battles alone. Through a solutions-focused and person-centered approach, my goal is to help you nourish you. I help clients find solutions to issues involving boundaries, self-care, time management, trauma, and stress. Together we can visualize, explore, and define who you are and what you want out of life.

Please know that the open days you see are typically the only days and times available. For the most attentive care, we would meet weekly initially, then space out sessions as there's progress toward your therapeutic goals.
