New to Grow
I’m Elizabeth Hughes, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping adults build healthier, more satisfying relationships. I work with individuals who are ready to make meaningful change and develop practical skills that improve daily life. I offer individual therapy for adult focused on lasting change. I use evidence-based approaches to enhance communication, boundary setting, and self-esteem. This will be a collaborative process where you will be provided with practical tools that can be used in between sessions.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session you’ll experience a warm, confidential space to share your story, goals and concern. Information gathering and building a trusting relationship will also be a part of this session. I will provide a tailored treatment plan with concrete tools and steps to use.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I work in a direct and respectful manner aimed at helping you reach your goals efficiently. Our work together will provide accountability and measurable progress along with practical tools to apply in between sessions.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use this method to help individuals examine, challenge and re-place distorted thoughts in order to stop unhealthy patterns.

This treatment is focused on the therapy relationship. I create a healthy non-judgmental space for clients to reflect, cope and re-direct old patterns.
Strength-Based
Focusing on strengths and what is working well will help individuals that I work with reach their goals in a fast positive manner.
