Hello, my name is Tina Salazar, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in CA. Are you struggling with isolation, stress, depression, or anxiety? Are you feeling overwhelmed? We will identify what's been holding you back, focus on your strengths and help you move your life in a forward direction. My style is warm and understanding. I will provide active listening, paying attention to your feelings and thoughts to convey an accurate understanding of your private world throughout the therapy sessions. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Coaching, and Solution-Focused Therapy to assist in meeting your goals, but I am open to trying other ways also. We can explore what works best for you and what you are willing to do. I use a strength-based approach to help you overcome obstacles.
My biggest strengths are; motivating, encouraging you, finding your strengths and holding you accountable to meet your goals and make changes. I am committed to helping you learn, grow and make the best decisions for yourself. I will use Solution Focus techniques and Person Centered Therapy. I'm dedicated to working collaboratively with you to develop the ideal therapeutic relationship and get you where you want to be.
My ideal clients need some encouragement, support and a good sounding board to make the changes in life you feel you need at this time. If you want to improve your relationship or make major decisions, or changes, you will have my support. Through self exploration and reinforcement of your worth, we will aim to improve self esteem, increase trust in decision making and cope with current issues.
