Welcome. First I would like to recognize your strength and courage to seek out mental health support. Life can be challenging to manage. And oftentimes, the toughest part is deciding to reach out for support. I believe the most important aspect of treatment is that clients feel heard, treated with respect, and actively involved in the healing process. Everyone has their own journey. Whether it’s an acute or chronic mental health concern, I use a person-centered approach to empower clients to regain power and stability in their lives. If you need a safe space to unpack how stress impacts your mental health, together we can work on improving interpersonal skills, reducing symptoms, and developing coping skills to deal with life's challenges.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is an opportunity to ensure a successful partnership to assist you with reaching your goals. I like to begin by addressing any concerns you may have about therapy. We will then discuss why you are seeking out therapy and gather a detailed history to better understand the specific challenges you're facing. After that, we will define treatment goals and review what to expect in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Currently, I am only taking adults seeking individual therapy services for anger management, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life adjustments, parenting, and stress management, vocational distress. I pride myself on providing a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to express themselves. My goal is to build an alliance with the client and collaboratively work together to develop solutions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT to help clients challenge instrusive thoughts of worry and anxiety as well as manage negative emotions. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to develop skills and strategies to change your thinking patterns and reduce your distress.
