Hi, My name is Aaron and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who loves to see people start taking more control over their life and empowering them to become the mature, healthy person that they've always wanted to be. I've found that many people get bogged down by false lies/narratives that they have in their heads like, "I'm not good enough", "I can't handle it", or the all too common "I don't deserve ... ".
These lies, whether we realize it or not, end up impacting many area's of our life, especially the way we view ourselves. With me, my hope is that you will have a transformative experience in the way you look at yourself and believe in yourself. My goal is for you to grow in believing, "There are many good things about me and that's enough", or "I actually can handle it, and I can figure things out" or "I actually do deserve ..."
When you grow in actually believing these things, it's amazing how much more mature, healthy and confident you become. You can actually re-write the way you think about yourself and you can experience life to the fullest!

Hello, my name is Tina Salazar, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in CA. Are you struggling with isolation, stress, depression, or anxiety? Are you feeling overwhelmed? I’m Edgard Villa, an LCSW and U.S. military veteran specializing in men’s mental health and working with active-duty service members and veterans. I provide personalized, evidence-based therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and major life transitions. My approach is straightforward, practical, and clinically grounded, helping clients build resilience and create meaningful, lasting change.
Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I'm a short-term, solution-oriented therapist that focuses on identifying and relieving on mild-to-moderate mental health symptoms, likely related to newer onset life stressors: family and relationship issues, school and work, grief and loss, medical diagnoses, etc. Though I would love to serve all that are seeking mental health therapy, it's important that I remain within my scope of competence and scope of practice. Therefore, I'm ethically unable to accept clients seeking long-term/maintenance care or specialized interventions (e.g., trauma, OCD, etc.).
My approach to therapy tends to resonate best with clients who are moderately motivated to truly seek out solutions to their issues and symptoms, and are willing to do the work- both in session, and out- to achieve the results desired. We collaborate to identify the issues, and put in the actual work to make change for resolution. Though I am a clinician that utilizes evidence-based practices and interventions, I would definitely say I'm also a bit of a life coach!
I suffer from PTSD and my journey into therapy began with years of denial. As all heroes do I refused the call. Then I started helping others - the immigrant, the unhoused, the addicted - and I saw the beauty of human resilience. I discovered the capacity for compassion, healing, and evolution in others as well as myself. I fully believe therapy has the power to not only help people survive but to thrive.
Love and work are essential to a meaningful life. Relationships with others define experience and work gives a sense of purpose. Disturbance in these affect well being and contribute to an overwhelmed response leading to collapse. As trauma is relational so is recovery and healing. Having the right therapeutic alliance is a key element and requires, attunement and constistency.

Hi there,
I primarily work in substance use recovery (abstinence and harm reduction) and trauma recovery. I also have specialized training in treating anxiety, depression, and sleep issues/insomnia. My treatment orientation is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts, however the foundation of my early training was Psychodynamic.
I have been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, STAIR (Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation), and Seeking Safety for trauma treatment. When treating anxiety, I take a CBT, or exposure approach with skill-building. For depression I utilize CBT concepts, or behavioral activation with skill-building. For sleep issues, I work with the CBT for insomnia treatment model. These are just a few examples of treatment approaches I utilize. I am relational focused, which to me means finding a plan that works best for you, practicing cultural humility and not trying to fit a round peg in a square hole.
I look forward to working with you.

Do you struggle with people-pleasing, anxiety, depression, internalized and/or externalized anger, or managing emotions in general in a healthy manner? Did you experience childhood trauma and feel like you grew up too fast? Were you labeled "different," "the "caretaker," "black sheep," or "troublemaker"? I teach people how to prioritize and honor all parts of themselves, not just the "desirable" ones. I'll teach you the skills to feel more at peace.
As your therapist, I will be challenging and direct, yet empathetic and compassionate. I will challenge you through introspective questioning that will lead you to your own answers. I hope you'll witness yourself feeling more empowered, confident, and more at peace with yourself as my other clients have. You will notice your relationships evolve and change, which can be scary! Rest assured, you will be provided with skills to gracefully go through them.

Hello and welcome,
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with a practice rooted in curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for the human experience. My work is guided by the belief that healing emerges when we feel truly seen, heard, and held—an approach that honors both the conscious and unconscious dimensions of your inner life.
I offer a holistic, integrative approach that engages mind, body, and spirit. I am certified in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, including ketamine-assisted sessions (KAP), and provide both preparation and integration support to help these experiences become a source of profound insight and growth.
My practice moves beyond traditional talk therapy. I see storytelling not just as expression, but as a doorway to transformation. Through connecting with the body and attending to the felt sense of experience, clients can shift entrenched patterns, reclaim fragmented parts of themselves, and cultivate lasting change. By exploring both the personal and archetypal dimensions of your inner world, we work to cultivate resilience, confidence, and a deeper sense of trust in yourself and in life’s unfolding.
Healing is not simply intellectual—it is a process of reconnecting with the wholeness of who you are, integrating the wounded, the wise, and the curious parts of yourself to step more fully into your life.
I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist with nearly two decades of experience, specializing in supporting women who deal with anxiety, depression, and trauma-related challenges. Currently working with only adults. No couples or families.
