New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 3 years of experience supporting individuals through anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges, with a special focus on perinatal and postpartum mental health. I have experience working in NICU and high-risk obstetric settings, where I supported clients navigating pregnancy complications, postpartum adjustment, and the emotional toll of medically complex pregnancies. I take a compassionate, trauma-informed, and collaborative approach, creating a safe space where clients can build coping skills, strengthen boundaries, and feel supported and understood during vulnerable seasons of life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is a relaxed, supportive space where we go at your pace. We’ll talk about what’s been coming up for you during pregnancy or postpartum—whether it’s anxiety, overwhelm, birth or NICU experiences, or feeling unlike yourself—and start making sense of it together. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and a little less alone.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my approach is that it’s compassionate, collaborative, and shaped by both my professional experience and my own journey as a parent. I combine practical tools with mindfulness and gentle guidance, helping you feel truly understood and supported. Many clients leave feeling calmer, more confident, and better able to navigate the ups and downs of pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m best positioned to support individuals who are navigating pregnancy, postpartum, or early parenthood and feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unlike themselves. I work well with clients who want a supportive, collaborative space to process birth or NICU experiences, adjust to life transitions, and strengthen boundaries and coping skills. If you’re looking to better understand your emotions, feel more grounded, and build confidence during a vulnerable season of life, we may be a good fit.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, especially during pregnancy and postpartum when stress and anxiety can feel overwhelming. Sessions focus on identifying unhelpful thought patterns and building practical coping skills that can be used in everyday life. My approach is collaborative and supportive, helping clients feel more grounded, confident, and empowered as they navigate this season.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate mindfulness-based therapy to help clients slow down, tune into the present moment, and build awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and body sensations without judgment. This can be especially helpful during pregnancy and postpartum, when anxiety, overwhelm, or feeling disconnected from your body can show up. Mindfulness skills are introduced gently and practically, giving clients tools they can use in real-life moments to feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves.
Psychoeducation
I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand what’s happening in their mind and body, especially during pregnancy and postpartum when symptoms can feel confusing or overwhelming. By explaining things like anxiety, stress responses, and emotional changes in a simple, relatable way, clients often feel more normalized and less alone. This understanding empowers clients to respond to themselves with more compassion and confidence as they move through this season.
