Everyone deserves to live a meaningful life—one filled with purpose, fulfilling relationships, personal growth, and a sense of balance. At times, however, we all need support and guidance to move forward. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over seven years of experience helping individuals across the lifespan navigate emotional and psychological challenges. In my practice, I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood instability, anger, relationship difficulties, divorce, family conflict, and work-related stress. My goal is to help clients reduce distress, strengthen insight, and build the skills needed to create lasting and positive change. My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and interactive. I place a strong emphasis on treating each person with respect, sensitivity, dignity, and compassion. I draw from a variety of evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches, including mindfulness-based practices, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), schema therapy, psychodynamic, humanistic, and rational-emotive interventions. Treatment is always tailored to your unique needs, goals, and life circumstances. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you on your path toward growth and well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, my primary goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. I’ll start by welcoming you and explaining a bit about how therapy works, including confidentiality and what you can expect from our time together. From there, I’ll invite you to share what’s brought you in, in your own words. I’m here to listen and understand your experience and to get a sense of what’s going on from your perspective. We’ll also spend time exploring what you hope to get out of therapy. We will focus on what you’d like to change, understand, or work toward. I believe therapy should be collaborative, so we’ll begin shaping a direction based on what matters most to you. You can expect me to reflect back what I hear, offer support without judgment, and stay curious about your experiences and goals. My aim is to build a strong therapeutic relationship from the start, one rooted in trust, empathy, and a shared commitment to your growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes me unique as a therapist is my deep commitment to truly understanding each client’s individual perspective and life experience. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach—instead, I take the time to listen closely, reflect deeply, and work collaboratively to develop a personalized and detailed plan that fits your specific needs, goals, and strengths. My focus is on creating a meaningful and a thoughtful path forward that’s unique to you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder, as well as those facing significant life changes including career transitions, relationship challenges, grief, or other major stressors. I am skilled at helping clients who may feel overwhelmed or stuck navigate these periods by providing a structured yet compassionate approach. Drawing on evidence-based therapies, I focus on helping individuals build resilience, regulate emotions, and rediscover their strengths so they can move forward with clarity and confidence. I also work with children, adolescents, parents and families who are navigating behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges, particularly those diagnosed with ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, and autism spectrum disorder. I thrive in helping clients who benefit from structured, evidence-based approaches combined with warmth and flexibility. My experience spans individuals, families, and caregivers, and I excel at engaging populations who may feel underserved or hesitant to seek therapy by building trust, fostering collaboration, and tailoring interventions to their unique strengths and needs.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

When utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so they can break unhelpful patterns and build healthier ones. I start by getting a clear picture of their concerns and exploring the situations where these issues show up. I provide psychoeducation so clients understand why CBT works and how their automatic thoughts influence how they feel and act. Together, we identify these thoughts, look for patterns, and use cognitive restructuring to challenge and replace unhelpful beliefs with more balanced perspectives. I also incorporate behavioral strategies such as exposure, behavioral activation, and skill-building to help clients practice new responses in real-life situations. Between sessions, I use homework to encourage ongoing application of the skills, and I regularly check in on what’s improving and what still needs attention. Toward the end of treatment, I work with clients to strengthen their coping tools and create a plan to prevent relapse so they feel confident maintaining their progress moving forward.
