Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Southern California. I received my Master's Degree from Capella University and have been practicing for 3 years. I am certified in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and love to implement the presence of horses in session when possible. I help families and individuals navigate life's challenges by providing a supportive space to explore experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions then I will want to know some background information of what brings you to therapy. In order to create a treatment plan unique to your needs, I will want to know what your goals are for our time together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a former first responder, I have seen and heard some of the most devastating things humanity has to offer. With that, I am able to explore trauma with my clients and manage crisis if necessary. Being able to create an environment for my clients to explore the darkest areas of life can help expose the roots of unhealthy coping skills and lead to a path of resilience.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify their strengths and focus on practical steps toward achieving their goals. By emphasizing solutions rather than problems, I empower individuals to envision a preferred future and take meaningful actions to create lasting change.

Attachment-based

I use attachment-based therapy to help clients explore the impact of early relationships on their current emotional patterns and connections. I guide individuals in building healthier bonds, enhancing self-awareness, and strengthening relationships.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I implement Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop skill sin mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. By focusing on balancing acceptance and change, I empower individuals to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and confidence.
