About me

Hi there! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Southern California, dedicated to helping individuals and families heal and thrive. Over my five years in practice since graduating from Capella University, I have focused on creating a collaborative, supportive space for my clients. I am here to help you navigate life's challenges, discover your strengths, and achieve meaningful growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will start with brief introductions to help you get comfortable with the process. From there, we will explore the background of what brings you to therapy and discuss your personal goals. This collaborative conversation allows us to design a customized treatment plan tailored uniquely to your needs, strengths, and lifestyle.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My background as a first responder gives me a realistic, compassionate understanding of the deepest hardships people face. I provide a stable, supportive space where we can safely process your trauma and navigate crises together. Stepping into the heavier chapters of your story can be daunting, but doing so allows us to uncover the root of painful coping patterns. I am here to walk with you through that dark, uncover your strengths, and help you emerge resilient.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I dedicate my practice to serving Veterans, First Responders, and their families. Having served as a first responder myself, I intimately understand the unique challenges and invisible weight of chronic trauma exposure. I provide evidence-based, compassionate care for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, sleep issues, substance abuse, relationship strain, and thoughts of self-harm. You do not have to carry this weight alone—let’s work together to help you heal, recover, and regain control of your life.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify their strengths and focus on practical steps toward achieving their goals. By emphasizing solutions rather than problems, I empower individuals to envision a preferred future and take meaningful actions to create lasting change.

Attachment-based

I use attachment-based therapy to help clients explore the impact of early relationships on their current emotional patterns and connections. I guide individuals in building healthier bonds, enhancing self-awareness, and strengthening relationships.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I implement Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. By focusing on balancing acceptance and change, I empower individuals to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and confidence.
