Hello and welcome.
Psychotherapy is a transformative tool to assist you in centering your mind, body, and spirit. There is no need to limit your life or extend your suffering, I can help you find the relief you’ve been searching for.
I’m trained, licensed, and competent in various evidence based practices. In honor of the diverse and multicultural world we live in; along with my own life experiences. As of result of this, I have evolved into an experienced Integrative Therapist. Truly believing and knowing, our minds, our bodies and our spirits are designed to heal themselves. Honoring life, as a whole and healing from the inside out.
I'd like to thank you in advance for caring for yourself. Whether you are looking for self-healing or for enhancement. I look forward to meeting and joining you on your healing journey.
You Don't Have to Figure This Out Alone
Life gets hard. Really hard. And when it does, most of us try to push through on our own — until we can't anymore. I get it. I've spent my career sitting with people in their hardest moments, and I know how much it matters to feel truly heard. That's what I'm here for.
Getting older isn't easy — for you or for the people who love you. Whether you're facing a health crisis, losing your independence, or watching someone you love change before your eyes, the emotional weight can be overwhelming. I work with adults and families to help make sense of it all.
Grief is its own kind of exhaustion. It doesn't follow a schedule, and it doesn't look the same for everyone. Whether you've lost a person, a role, a relationship, or the future you planned on— your loss is real, and it deserves real time and attention.
I am a therapist and social worker with over 10 years experience working in oncology, palliative care and hospice. Some days you need someone to just listen. Other days you want straight talk and a plan. I am practical, down-to-earth, personal and kind.
Taking that first step to reach out takes courage. If any of this sounds like what you've been looking for, I'd love to hear from you. I invite you to give me a call for a free 15-minute consultation. We can talk about your needs and how I can help.
I am a licensed therapist in California, holding a master’s degree from Columbia University, with over twenty years of experience. I lived in the Bay Area for nearly 20 years and now proudly call San Diego County home. I strive to create a warm space where curiosity and compassion guide us in exploring and understanding our lives. I deeply value self-agency and believe in the power of personal journeys that invite choice and meaningful reflection. It is truly a privilege to support my clients, and I hold our work together with genuine care and respect.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides individualized therapy for adult women. I primarily work with adult women who are managing daily responsibilities while navigating life challenges. I am most comfortable supporting clients who are ready to reflect, build skills, and work toward personal growth.
Welcome! I’m Carly, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes therapy should feel like a real, non-judgmental conversation . I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, and life transitions where I take a down-to-earth, collaborative approach. I want our work to feel like a space where you can breathe, grow, and feel more like yourself again.
I am licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion and clarity. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, transitional life phases and grief. My goals is to create a safe, non judgmental space where the client can explore their feelings, gain insight, and develop strategies for change. Together we work toward a greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, and a life that aligns with your values, goals, and to be a better version of yourself.
As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my deep empathy, active listening, and a commitment to mindful curiosity. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where your unique story can be truly heard and valued. Rather than simply diagnosing a problem, I listen for the 'hidden' stories of your strengths and values that often get overshadowed. My approach to active listening is about more than just understanding; it’s about standing alongside you to deconstruct the challenges you face and uncover the skills you already possess. Together, we will collaborate to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve you, fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and the reclamation of your personal agency.

I’m a licensed professional counselor with 20 years of experience in community mental health settings. As a therapist and behavioral health practitioner, I have worked with complex trauma, psychosis, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring substance use. I have a masters degree in clinical psychology from the University of Amsterdam and lived in the Netherlands for six years. There, I also began building my family, and that international foundation shaped both how I think and how I work.
I work with adults navigating a wide range of life challenges — from anxiety, depression, and relationship patterns to identity, major transitions, and the quieter but persistent sense that something just isn’t working. This includes people working through faith transitions or untangling the psychological weight of a strict or high-control religious upbringing — something I understand not just clinically, but personally. Whether you’re in crisis or simply ready to understand yourself better, I meet people where they are.
I am currently a marriage and family therapist licensed in the state of California. As a clinician I have 7 years’ experience working in residential care as well as community mental health treating children, adolescents, and adults who suffer from various challenges and diagnosis. I have also now worked remotely for 5 years providing individual therapy to all ages and populations.
In treatment, I believe that each and every person has the power and the courage to face their trauma and find fulfillment and joy in their lives. I view trauma as the root cause for the majority of mental health problems and diagnoses. I believe that treating trauma is the foundation for each client to heal and find wellness in their lives. In the therapeutic process I believe the therapist and client should work together collaboratively to establish wellness goals and to develop a plan to reach those goals. I have been trained in multiple trauma therapy modalities including EMDR, TF-CBT, EFT(emotional freedom technique), and mindfulness. I have used each of these techniques in treatment to process traumatic memories and heal trauma associated symptoms. I have also utilized EMDR to manage chronic pain and sensory issues. Outside of trauma therapy I have treated and managed individuals challenged with ADHD, Autism, and Learning disabilities.
Since becoming a licensed therapist in 2014, I've had the privilege of walking alongside adolescents, adults, and families through some of life's most challenging seasons. With a background in community mental health and family law, I understand the unique pressures that come with co-occurring disorders, mood disorders, family conflict, etc. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools to find hope, healing and lasting change.
Marriage & Family Therapist | Couples Counseling | Postpartum & First-Time Parent Support
The transition into parenthood can place unexpected strain on even strong relationships. Many couples experience increased conflict, emotional distance, or difficulty communicating after the birth of a child. First-time parents may also struggle with anxiety, overwhelm, identity shifts, and symptoms of postpartum depression or anxiety that feel isolating or hard to name.
I specialize in working with couples and first-time parents navigating relationship stress and postpartum mental health challenges. I support clients through this transition by helping them strengthen communication, rebuild emotional safety, and develop practical tools that support both individual well-being and long-term relationship health.
Clients often come to therapy feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward together. In our work, we slow things down, identify unhelpful patterns, and build skills for emotional regulation, clearer communication, and deeper connection — both individually and as a couple.
Hello and welcome! I’m glad you are here.
A little bit about myself, I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years, and it has been a meaningful journey. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, with a focus on Mental Health. I gained an understanding of the importance of accessible and compassionate care.
As I gained experience, I developed an interest in family systems and decided to further my education by pursing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Since then, I have had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, families, and children, providing both individual therapy and group facilitation.
In 2020, I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Through this journey, I have had experiences that allowed me to better understand the broader systems that impact people’s lives and to focus on finding collaborative, strength-based solutions that support real, lasting change.

Couples: I am TAKING Couples again. However only on Cash Pay basis. This is how it will work: You can schedule with me an hour consultation, you don't both have to be present, for this Consultation. From there we will meet 5 to 6 times for 1.5 hour sessions. It is very difficult to have Couples sessions within 60 min. The Cash pay is $250.00 for the 1.5 hour sessions. I understand the cost can be a deterrent in seeking help, however if you are both committed to doing the work 5 to 6 sessions should be productive and enough to see changes.
Individuals: Of course I am still taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers.
I am here to help with coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.
For Clients that are insured by Kaiser: I will be confirming your appointment 48 hours before the appointment by email, please email me back with a confirmation. If you do not respond to my email I will cancel the appointment. Also, if you cancel a set appt less than 24 hours I will need to refer you to another therapist. I am sorry to have to do this, however I have had an excessive amount of no shows. Thank you for understanding.

Saundre has over 15 years of professional counseling experience working in shelters, schools, and mental health clinics. She received a master’s degree in social work from Howard University with a focus on Black mental health and community healing.
Growing up in East Oakland, in a single-parent household quickly taught Saundre about the importance of her own mental health care. Personally experiencing the effects of misogyny, classism and racism pushed her to create safe and humanizing spaces for Black Women to begin their healing journey.
During the pandemic she courageously opened her private practice Queens N' Therapy®, which is specifically tailored to meet the mental health needs of Black Women.

Let’s make some progress and have a little fun along the way.
I’m an experienced therapist who works closely with women dealing with anxiety and life’s challenges. I help clients manage anxiety and depression, prevent burnout, and create practical changes that bring them back to balance. Together we’ll identify what’s not working, understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and build tools you can use in real life—not just in session.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but it’s a meaningful step. You deserve a supportive, judgment-free space to breathe, heal, and grow. If you’re ready, I’d be happy to work with you.
Therapy for anxiety, depression, psychosis, and self-doubt.
For the curious, the sensitive, and the ones who've been told they're “too much.”
If you’re here, maybe you’re carrying a lot. And maybe you’re finally ready to understand why.
I work best with clients who are curious, self-aware, and ready to get into the real stuff — not just the “I’m fine” script. If you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, self-doubt, or the aftershocks of a mental health diagnosis like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder — you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
I work with adults (mostly 26–46) who are insightful, emotionally intelligent, and ready to explore the patterns beneath their symptoms. My clients often identify as women, queer, gay, or somewhere in between. I also love working with family members of folks with serious mental illness (SMI) — and with people living with SMI themselves.
You might be a student juggling survival and identity, or a person who’s held it together for too long. Maybe you've been misunderstood by providers in the past — labeled “too much” or “treatment resistant.” I see you differently.
I’m pro-medicine, pro-choose-if-you-want-medicine, and pro-you-get-to-decide-what-healing-looks-like. (And honestly? Medication saved my life.) We’ll work together to figure out what works for you — whether that’s weekly therapy, biweekly check-ins, or monthly deep dives.
This is a space for unlearning shame, untangling patterns, and giving yourself permission to take up space — even when it feels hard. Let’s get into the layers. Let’s do the work.
Are you feeling overwhelmed? Do you need a safe place to vent and grow? Do you struggle with depression or/and anxiety? Is there unresolved trauma or grief that impacts your daily life?
I work with clients from all walks of life, backgrounds, ages and experiences who are ready to create a life worth living. Together we will work to restore balance and harmony in your life. We'll use a whole-person approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. Through therapy, we can begin to facilitate the work of processing and healing underlying issues in your life. Together we can develop a strong foundation that can lead to long-term progress and change.
I pride myself on providing a safe and empathic space for my clients throughout their journey of self-empowerment and self-discovery. Taking the first step can be difficult, I praise you for taking the first step in self-development and prioritizing yourself and your well-being. I look forward to working with you and being a part of your overall journey.

Improvements to your life will require actual changes. You can go forward at the pace that suits you, but you'll need to go forward and I'm here to help with that.

Many of my clients are high-achievers who have "made it" on the outside, but internally battle feelings of shame, people-pleasing, or boundary struggles. Whether you’re processing complex family history, navigating identity challenges, or feeling burnt out, I’m here to walk alongside you.
My approach blends two core principles: understanding your history and listening to your body. I use an intersubjective approach, which means we work together—using our relationship as a window into how you connect with the world. I also integrate the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) to help you get more comfortable in your own skin. This is about more than just insight; it’s about learning to calm your nervous system so you can navigate life without feeling constantly on edge.
Ultimately, I want to help you move toward a life that feels authentically yours. By bringing hidden patterns into the light, we can reclaim your stability and freedom. You don’t have to carry the weight of the past alone.
