Several therapeutic approaches are incorporated, including guided imagery and breathwork.

You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!
I’m an experienced therapist who works closely with women dealing with anxiety and life’s challenges. My approach is relational and grounded in attachment, but most of all, it’s compassionate and collaborative. In our work together, we’ll make space for clarity, balance, and self-acceptance. I’ll walk alongside you as you move through what’s hard, helping you understand yourself more deeply and supporting you in finding your own path toward feeling better and more grounded.
I specialize in helping expectant and new parents adapt and thrive in their new roles. The transition into parenthood is one of the most profound life changes, and it can come with emotional and psychological challenges. I believe that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. Whether you're dealing with overwhelming emotions, struggling to adjust to postpartum life, you don’t have to face it alone. I am here for you. Therapy is different for every person and I work to tailor my treatment specifically to your needs and personality in order to help you in the best possible way.

Hola! My name is Brianna and I’m so glad you’re here. The decision to begin therapy is a big one, and I feel honored that you are considering doing that with me. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. On our therapeutic journey, I welcome you just the way you are so that we can work to create an authentic life balance that will support your success, wellness and happiness.

I want to work with you to help you figure out how to solve challenges and find the most authentic version of yourself so that you can live the life you’ve always envisioned.
I received my Masters from CSU San Jose State and have been supporting clients for 8 years.
I believe psychotherapy is a tool to understand oneself and grow as an individual, It can also be used to form a relationship where safety allows a person to share their innermost thoughts and feelings and then work towards symptom alleviation and improving self-concept, social and family relationships, and find personal contentment and fulfillment in their lives. I have been in the psychotherapy field for over 45 years and love working with people of all ages, sexual preferences, racial and ethnic groups, and mental health problems presented. My approach is kind, compassionate, and considerate of people's wishes, needs, and preferences.
My therapeutic style is grounded in a holistic and integrative framework, which empowers me to provide personalized care that aligns with each client's distinct situation and clinical needs. I am committed to cultivating a safe and nurturing space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. As I walk alongside clients on their path to healing, I remain flexible and responsive, adjusting my approach to support their growth and development at every stage.
I am Daniel Karkoska. I have a broad range of experience treating trauma and gender and sexual identity in adults. I am EMDR trained and focus on uncovering what may be holding someone back from making a meaningful life change. Whether lightening the emotional load of a traumatic experience, or simply taking time to create more clarity, my approach is mindful and nonjudgmental.
I specialize in providing treatment to those who have experienced trauma, utilizing skills-based therapies such as CBT/DBT, as well as techniques from IFS and Polyvagal theory to inform the EMDR process. I find this combination to be effective in safely reconnecting with difficult emotions in helpful ways that allow for meaningful change.

Hi, I'm Jaclyn, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, perfectionism, and self-esteem. I am passionate about helping people build a healthier relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves so they can spend less time struggling and more time engaging in the things that matter most to them.
Many of the clients I work with feel exhausted by constant self-criticism, food and body thoughts, anxiety, or the pressure to get everything "right." They may find themselves stuck in cycles of restriction, binge eating, emotional eating, people-pleasing, or perfectionism, despite their best efforts to change. My goal is to help clients better understand the patterns keeping them stuck while developing practical tools to create meaningful and lasting change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, self-compassion work, and values-based approaches to help clients develop greater awareness, emotional resilience, and flexibility. I believe that lasting change is most sustainable when it comes from a place of understanding and self-compassion rather than shame or self-judgment.
Therapy with me is not about achieving perfection. Instead, it is about learning how to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, self-awareness, and kindness toward yourself. Whether you are struggling with an eating disorder, body image concerns, anxiety, or feeling disconnected from yourself, I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can occur.
Reaching out for support can be difficult, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
This sounds polished for Grow while still feeling like you—warm, compassionate, and clearly focused on eating disorders and body image work.

Hello, and congratulations on taking the first step into your therapeutic journey! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in California. I work with individuals and couples to build insight, improve communication, and create meaningful, lasting change within the broader systems of family and society.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience in private practice and across hospital, academic, and community-based settings. I earned my doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University and completed predoctoral and postdoctoral research training at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where my work with the Integrated Substance Use and Addiction Programs (ISAP) focused on researching addiction treatment models and their implementation in clinical settings. I also earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC), where my clinical training included adult and children psychiatric care in community-based centers and program development in nonprofit organizations throughout Los Angeles County.
Many of the people I work with feel caught in anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, guilt, burnout, or a sense that something needs to change but they cannot quite name what. Others are navigating grief, life transitions, shifts in identity or relationships, or questions about meaning and purpose.
Hello there, thanks for spending the time to get to know me as a Therapist.
I would like first to welcome you to this interesting journey of getting to know yourself deeply and possibly understand the world around you.
First, I explore you, the problem you are facing, your environment, and your past to understand better what is going on. So, be aware, I will take some time on that. I especially want you to feel heard and understood first, to be in the same page before we move on to the next step. I was told to be very approachable and easy to talk to, even when I point out inconsistencies for us to gain broader insight into your situation.
Over the years of experience, I have learned that each of my clients brings a different theory that needs to be treated case by case. I use several different approaches and orientations, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Bowen Therapy, and Structural Therapy among many others. I have treated adolescents, women, men, couples, and families, and I have been treated at different severity levels. I have been successful in bringing out the best of you once you find your personal goals and place in life.
Overall, I am open to your needs and preferences in treatment plan and interventions, as long as it brings you back to your functioning and high performance.
I work with adults on a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, OCD, relationship issues, communication, and intimacy, parenting and family struggles, and insomnia and sleep issues. My practice integrates tools of mindfulness, stress reduction, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic experiencing, EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy. I support clients in finding their values and putting those values into action in their daily life.
Hola Aloha
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) CA, Art Therapist, Eco-Therapist, Certified 500-Hour Yoga Teacher, and Holy Fire Reiki Master.
I support people in creating meaningful change by cultivating mindful awareness of thought and speech patterns that influence growth, joy, and satisfaction. Together, we’ll practice identifying and shifting beliefs that no longer serve you, reframe unhelpful narratives, and open space for empowerment, clarity, and transformation.
Rooted in my Native American Mexica, Spanish, and European heritage, I bring a holistic, culturally grounded approach to therapy. My Souljorn has taken me across Europe, Asia, Mexico, and the Hawaiian Islands, where I immersed myself in culture, permaculture, meditation, healing arts, spirituality, and indigenous ceremonies—experiences that continue to guide my work.
I hold a B.A. in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley and an M.A. in Psychology and Art Therapy, where I studied neuroplasticity and creative approaches to healing and positive change. I also share Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), or tapping, which helps honor and release limiting thoughts and emotions. Mindfulness is the core theme in my practice. I offer guidance to connect with nature, the elements, and the cycles of the seasons as pathways to grounding, connection, renewal, and deeper self-awareness.
Earlier in my career I worked in community clinics, schools, homes, and wilderness therapy programs. Today, I provide online therapy for California residents, offering a compassionate and intentional space for growth and healing.
If you are ready to release old patterns, reconnect with your authentic self, and embrace new possibilities, I am here to guide and support you with care, wisdom, and purpose.
The time for transformation is now. We are the ones we have been waiting for.
Eternal blessings
I suffer from PTSD and my journey into therapy began with years of denial. As all heroes do I refused the call. Then I started helping others - the immigrant, the unhoused, the addicted - and I saw the beauty of human resilience. I discovered the capacity for compassion, healing, and evolution in others as well as myself. I fully believe therapy has the power to not only help people survive but to thrive.

As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my deep empathy, active listening, and a commitment to mindful curiosity. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where your unique story can be truly heard and valued. Rather than simply diagnosing a problem, I listen for the 'hidden' stories of your strengths and values that often get overshadowed. My approach to active listening is about more than just understanding; it’s about standing alongside you to deconstruct the challenges you face and uncover the skills you already possess. Together, we will collaborate to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve you, fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and the reclamation of your personal agency.

I draw from a range of approaches including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, etc. to tailor each session to meet your unique needs. My goal is to make therapy feel accessible and collaborative. I aim to keep our conversations down-to-earth, supportive, and meaningful.
I have been working with children, families, and adults for over 40 years. My counseling work began following intensive training at the UCLA Child Outpatient Clinic in Los Angeles. After earning a master's degree in social work from USC, I continued clinical work in a variety of settings including pediatric offices, outpatient clinics, and residential treatment. I completed a fellowship in Infant Parent Mental Health and studied under the late Dr. T. With over 40 years of experience, I specialize in working with children and teens experiencing anxiety and low self esteem, helping them develop emotional regulation, resilience, and self-understanding through a compassionate, developmentally attuned approach.
I also work with adults, drawing upon deep knowledge of childhood trauma—including family of origin betrayal such as abuse, emotional neglect, and complex trauma resulting from violations of trust—to support healing from long-standing relational and emotional wounds.
My trauma-informed practice integrates insights from neuroscience, developmental psychology, and intergenerational family systems, offering clients of all ages a pathway toward growth, stability, and self-compassion.
I moved on to complete a specialist degree in school psychology and master's degree in education from Chapman University. Work program at California State University, Long Beach.

As a therapist, I strive to create and maintain a safe, judgment-free environment for my clients to be vulnerable and explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, good and bad. I utilize a collaborative approach to raise awareness, discuss deeper issues, and support clients in overcoming barriers so they can live fulfilling lives.
I understand that, at times, this process can be intimidating, and it takes a lot of courage to acknowledge you might need help. So, I want to emphasize that if you choose to work with me, I will be there to lend an empowering, helping hand.
Welcome! I'm Patricia Soto, a compassionate Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist committed to guiding individuals towards mental well-being and empowerment though all seasons in life. With a focus on addressing depression, self-esteem, anxiety, grief, life transitions, work-related stress, and challenges within relationships and families, I'm dedicated to helping you harness your innate strengths and work on your journey to healing and happiness.
I am a down-to-earth and collaborative therapist who believes that the foundation of effective healing is a genuine, honest connection. I prioritize creating a transparent environment where you feel heard and respected, allowing us to work as true partners in your mental health journey. My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy is most effective when it is practical, straightforward, and focused on your unique reality.
In our sessions, I value honesty and the identification of healthy, realistic goals. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), where we work together to uncover the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying irrational thinking patterns and challenging negative self-talk, we can begin to reframe your narrative in a way that serves your growth rather than hindering it.
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a significant step, which is why I focus on providing a non-judgmental space where we can tackle challenges at your pace. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, daily stress, or life transitions, my goal is to provide you with a functional toolkit of strategies you can use long after our sessions end. Together, we will move toward a more balanced, resilient, and fulfilling life.
Hello! My name is Mercedes. I am a bilingual (English y Español) first-generation Latina Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and daughter of immigrant parents who values creating a space where people feel understood, supported, and able to show up as themselves. I have worked with children for over 15 years and within the mental health field for the past 5 years, supporting children, teens, adults, and foster youth through a variety of emotional, relational, and life challenges.
Throughout my experience in community mental health, I have provided individual, family, and group therapy, including DBT-focused groups, while working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. I enjoy walking alongside clients as they gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck.
Hi, I'm Jason Markel, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 9 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, and struggles with self-worth.
Many of the people I work with have spent years taking care of others, second-guessing themselves, or trying to meet expectations that don't truly fit who they are. They often feel exhausted, disconnected, or stuck repeating patterns that no longer serve them. Therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself, understand what's holding you back, and begin creating a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. I believe lasting change happens when people feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences without judgment. Together, we'll work to build self-trust, strengthen boundaries, improve relationships, and help you move toward the life you want rather than the life you feel obligated to live.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, identity questions, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you feel more confident, connected, and empowered in your daily life.

Hi there! I'm Nancy, and I am so excited to share a bit about myself with you!
Growing up, I experienced some pretty challenging situations within my family, and as a result, I spent much of my childhood in the foster care system and moving from place to place never being able to call a place my home. These experiences gave me a unique perspective on the importance of early intervention and prevention in the mental health field. It was through my experience as a survivor, and my own personal struggles that I discovered my passion for helping others.
As a mental health professional, I've had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals, but one experience that stands out to me the most is that of my younger brother. Despite struggling with reading and writing, he was consistently overlooked and eventually turned to drugs, never finishing high school. It's a heartbreaking situation, and I often wonder what could have been different if someone had taken the time to help him earlier. Unfortunately, my brother now suffers from bipolar disorder and experiences panic attacks due to the overwhelming sense of hopelessness and loss he feels. It's because of him that I've dedicated my career to helping others before they reach that point of no return. The point where there is nothing more than resignation and accepting what is than what one could become.
Overall, I'm incredibly passionate about what I do and am eager to continue making a positive impact on the lives of children, youth, and families in need. I'm excited about the opportunity to get to know you and be of support to you in your toughest moments in life.
Warmly,
Nancy Gonzalez-McKenzie
I’m Allan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy—especially for kids—doesn’t have to mean sitting on a couch talking about feelings for 50 minutes. Sometimes the best conversations happen over LEGOs, games, art, play, or while doing something that makes it easier to simply be yourself. Online, it could mean processing trauma, playing online therapeutic games with children (or adults if you want to).
I especially enjoy working with children and teens, including kids who are anxious, overwhelmed, navigating trauma, struggling with big emotions or behaviors, or having a hard time putting what’s happening inside into words. I use play, creativity, humor, and evidence-based approaches to build connection and help kids develop skills without therapy feeling like another place where adults are telling them what to do.
I also work with adults navigating trauma, mood concerns, relationships, identity, major life changes, and life’s more complicated chapters. My style is warm, humorous, direct, and genuinely human. I draw from DBT, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, play-based interventions, Theraplay-informed practices, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care, adapting therapy to the person in front of me rather than expecting them to adapt to therapy.
My professional experience includes inpatient psychiatry, juvenile justice, child welfare, family services, and community mental health, so I’m comfortable working with both everyday struggles and situations that feel especially complicated.
Whether we meet in my Eureka office or online, my goal is to create a space where you—or your child—feel safe, understood, and comfortable showing up exactly as you are. My practice is LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse affirming and neurodiversity-affirming.
And yes, there are credentials behind the LEGOs.

It is always a privilege to partner with clients on their journey to improved mental health. I work with clients to discover their value and process through past hurts and traumas. I provide a safe place to process current and past issues and also provide psychoeducation so clients can learn new, healthy coping skills. I refer to myself as a tour guide on the road to healing.
I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out. Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and direct, and I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation: one where you feel heard, understood, gently challenged, and equipped with practical tools you can use in everyday life.
Building a trusting, collaborative relationship is at the heart of my work. I strive to create a space where you feel safe bringing every part of yourself into therapy, knowing you'll be met with compassion, honesty, and respect. Hello, my name is Sang Wu and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from Alliant International University and have been practicing for ten years. I work with adults who feel stuck in their current lives, and individuals who struggle with anxiety and depression. I assist in helping them navigate crucial moments, difficult forks in the road of life, uncertain futures, and help them live their best lives.
Couples: I am TAKING Couples again. However only on Cash Pay basis. This is how it will work: You can schedule with me an hour consultation, you don't both have to be present, for this Consultation. From there we will meet 5 to 6 times for 1.5 hour sessions. It is very difficult to have Couples sessions within 60 min. The Cash pay is $250.00 for the 1.5 hour sessions. I understand the cost can be a deterrent in seeking help, however if you are both committed to doing the work 5 to 6 sessions should be productive and enough to see changes.
Individuals: Of course I am still taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers.
Sometimes our own mental health can influence all of our relationships, and you may need coping techniques for anxiety and or depression type symptoms. I will work with you individually to help you gain insight to your own behavior that may be influencing your relationship.
I am here to help with coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.
Welcome! I’m Carly, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes therapy should feel like a real, non-judgmental conversation . My style is warm, honest, and practical—my goal is for you to feel supported, understood, and actually helped. I want our work to feel like a space where you can breathe, grow, and feel more like yourself again.
Hello and welcome! I have been a licensed psychologist in California since 2016. My goal is to help individuals enhance their sense of well being and experience a greater sense of meaning in their lives. This can be done by acquiring coping skills to identify, and refute unhelpful habits of thinking, increase self-compassion and self-care.
My approach to counseling is strengths based and empowerment focused. I use a collaborative and egalitarian style with people who I works with in counseling. When meeting with me for the first time, clients can expect an opportunity to explore presenting concerns and potential goals for treatment.
I received my Bachelors degree Psychology from the George Washington University, my first Masters degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University and my second Masters degree and Doctorate in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of La Verne.
When I’m not working with clients, you can find me in the garden!

My approach blends evidence-based practices with genuine connection to help clients build insight, resilience, and confidence. My style is collaborative and empathetic, communicating in a way that feels grounding and approachable. This combination makes clients feel both heard and guided.
I truly believe each individual is the expert on their own life and trust that through treatment, they will learn more about themselves and gain confidence as they contribute in their healing process. My vision for therapy is to aid each client in gaining awareness about who they are and how they came to be with an empathic and client centered approach.

I work with adults of all age groups, both in individual therapy and couples sessions.
I specialize in the application of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Assertive Communication Skills (ACS), Insight-Oriented Therapy (IOT), Problem-Solving Therapy (PST), guided breathing, Validation Therapy (VT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am here to be your guide, your resource, and your support.
Ready to change your life? Then here we go!
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and I believe therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported without judgment. I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, and the challenges that life can sometimes bring. My goal is to create a space where you can talk openly about what you’re going through and feel safe exploring your thoughts and feelings.
My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a person-centered style, which means we work together to better understand your experiences while also building practical tools to help you cope, grow, and move forward. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you as a person.
I also have experience working with military members and veterans, and I recognize the unique experiences and stressors that can come with military life and transitions. I strive to offer a respectful and supportive environment where clients can process their experiences and work toward healing at their own pace.
Above all, I believe everyone deserves a place where they feel heard, valued, and supported as they work toward a life that feels more balanced and meaningful.
Hi there, my name is Cynthia Haynes, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work in private practice, providing one-on-one individual therapy, as well as couples counseling. Couples' counseling services are exclusively offered to clients who utilize cash-based payment options.. I have over 10 years of experience in private practice. I love my career, I love helping people and am passionate about helping people grow and experience meaningful, positive results in their lives.
As a therapist, I work with my patients to establish a foundation of mindfulness. We begin here to increase awareness and reduce judgements of the self and others. I take a collaborative approach with my clients, allowing autonomy in all aspects of treatment; while holding them accountable. I provide clear action steps after session to facilitate and foster a culture of implementation of skills and topics covered in sessions. After all, this is your life! Who know's it better than you.
