About me

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel understood, supported, and challenged to grow. I take a warm, collaborative, and evidence-based approach, helping clients develop practical skills that create lasting change rather than temporary relief. Together, we will address the root of what it is that you are experiencing. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, or feeling stuck, we'll work together to understand what's keeping you there and build a plan that helps you move forward with confidence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine how I can best support you. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your personal history, your strengths, and the goals you'd like to achieve. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences while making sure you feel heard and respected throughout the process. Together, we'll begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your needs and identify practical steps you can start using right away. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, hopeful, and with a clearer sense of direction.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I work to balance compassion with honesty. I'll meet you where you are, but I won't hesitate to gently challenge unhelpful patterns when doing so supports your growth. My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Gottman Method principles for couples. I focus on teaching practical skills that clients can continue using long after therapy ends. My goal is to help you build resilience, improve self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change, not just feel better during our sessions together.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults and couples who are motivated to create meaningful change, even if they're unsure where to start. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, or low self-esteem. They value a collaborative, evidence-based approach and are willing to practice new skills between sessions. Whether you're seeking symptom relief, stronger relationships, or personal growth, I strive to provide practical tools that lead to lasting progress.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

I help couples improve communication, rebuild trust, resolve conflict, and strengthen their connection. Together, we'll identify patterns that keep you feeling stuck and replace them with healthier ways of communicating, understanding one another, and working as a team. My goal is to help you build a relationship where both partners feel heard, respected, and supported.

Gottman method

The Gottman Method is a research-based approach designed to help couples build healthier, more satisfying relationships. We'll work on improving communication, managing conflict, increasing emotional connection, and strengthening trust. Rather than simply resolving arguments, we'll focus on building skills that help your relationship thrive over the long term.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps identify the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll examine unhelpful thinking patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, stress, or low self-esteem and replace them with healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. You'll also learn practical coping skills that you can use in everyday life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT helps you stop struggling against difficult thoughts and emotions and instead focus on living according to your values. Rather than trying to eliminate uncomfortable feelings, you'll learn how to respond to them more effectively while taking meaningful steps toward the life you want to live.

Gestalt

Gestalt therapy focuses on increasing self-awareness and understanding how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence your experiences in the present moment. Together, we'll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck and help you develop greater insight, authenticity, and confidence in your relationships and daily life.
