LMFT, 6 years of experience
Hi there! I’m La Tisha. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, disconnection, or a sense of losing yourself, my goal is to help you move beyond surface coping and return to your authentic self. I work with clients who are ready to step out of “performing wellness” and into honesty, genuine presence, and alignment with their core values. My approach is holistic and relational—integrating mind, body, and spirit to foster resilience, restore connection, and support sustainable healing and authentic living.
In our initial session, we’ll start with introductions and address any questions about the therapy process or my approach. We’ll then transition into a discussion about your experiences, needs, and goals so I can better understand how to support you on your healing journey.
My greatest strength as a clinician is my ability to see clients as whole. You are shaped by your relationships—and because much of our wounding happens within them, healing can also take root through them. Beyond techniques or tools, I hold therapy as a meaningful space for genuine connection, honesty, and growth. I believe honesty—both with yourself and within the therapeutic relationship—is essential for healing. My aim is to create a safe, grounded environment where you can move beyond performance, deepen your self-understanding, and emerge as your most authentic self.
I work best with individuals who are ready to move past performance and step into honesty and transformation—those open to the work of repair, release, and renewal. My role is to hold a grounded, compassionate space that values truth, honors the mystery of the healing process, and supports the practical steps required for real change.
Mind-Body Therapy is a holistic approach that integrates psychological healing with physical awareness, recognizing the deep connection between the mind, body, and emotions. Rooted in somatic psychology, neuroscience, and traditional healing practices, this approach helps individuals process trauma, regulate emotions, and build resilience by tuning into bodily sensations, breath, and movement. By addressing both cognitive and physiological responses, mind-body therapy fosters self-awareness, emotional balance, and long-term well-being, making it particularly effective for stress, anxiety, trauma, and chronic pain.

Latisha says what needs to be said in a way that is clearly understood. Although I chose challenging and direct to describe her, she is also compassionate and empathetic. It's just that her ability to challenge me to see my behavior and understand the why and the result it produces is where I have gained the most ground in recovering from the habit of placing my self-worth in what others think of me.

Definitely recommend if you are seeking someone authentic and searching to hear what your inner most person is trying to tell you; she is great at communicating helping you understand that inner monologue.
