Hi there! I'm La Tisha! Whether you are struggling with anxiety, grief, emotional numbness, or sense of self; my primary goal is to help you reconnect with your authentic inner self. I empower folkx to reconnect with their inner self; reconnecting with their core values so that they feel empowered to live their authentic self. I use a holistic approach where I embody mind, body, and spirit. I also incorporate indigenous forms of healing in addition to Western Psychology to help you develop a sense of self that is whole. Whether you are wanting to unpack years of complex trauma, develop healthier relationships, or manage cycles of depression and anxiety, I am here to walk alongside you in this journey through the lens of compassion and grace. Learning to love yourself and develop healthier relationships with others starts with learning to honor who you are authentically. My role as your therapist: serve as a teacher, a guide; facilitator of growth and healing

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, will start with brief introductions and answer any questions you may have about the overall therapy process and questions you may have for me relating to my therapeutic style. We will transition to me learning more about you so that I learn how to better support you in your growth and healing journey.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I am orientated in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic & Attachment therapy. I am client centered and see my client as a whole being. I also incorporate indigenous ways of healing and time-tested wisdom pulled from indigenous and eastern philosophy. I aim to provide a space of growth & connection through a decolonized lens.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength as a clinician is being able to see my client as a whole being. You are the sum of your relationships. It is often in relationships where we experience wounding and so it is through relationships we can experience healing and growth. Treatment methods and tools set aside, my space with you is sacred and I aim to cultivate a space where you can begin to unfold, learn about yourself, and eventually show up as your authentic self.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Women navigating major life transitions and overall challenges of womanhood; individuals wanting to learn how to live a life worth living who have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder; high-functioning anxiety; POC wanting to focus on cultural identity and how it impacts their mental health.
