I am an LCPC with 15+ years experience in behavioral healthcare. I have worked with individuals 5-85 years old in outpatient mental health, crisis intervention services, case management, and residential behavioral healthcare. I have been licensed for the past 6 years and have been working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient mental health. Over the past 3 years I have run therapy groups for Depression, DBT skill sets, and Women's Wellness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

At our first session we will review the initial paperwork and assessments you completed. We will complete an assessment that will capture what brought you to make your appointment and discuss what your expectations and goals are for treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that my greatest strength as a provider is my genuine desire to help you reach your goals. I enjoy getting to know my clients and take the journey beside them that they so bravely choose to enter. I am always humbled that clients bring the most difficult and painful experiences of their lives to me and I do not take that trust for granted.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a proven and effective method of changing the way one thinks about things in order to make a desired change in behavior.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness Based Therapy provides opportunities for increased relaxation, decreased anxiety, and an opportunity to "slow down and smell the roses".

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution focused brief treatment has great tools for assessing where you are and what it will take to get to where you want to be. It can be very effective for anxiety, depression, and relationship problems.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person centered therapy can improve self awareness. It emphasizes empathy and positive regard for the client and promotes acceptance and a non judgmental approach.

Positive Psychology

Positive psychology can help clients focus on strengths, meanings, and abilities. It can help you feel more optimistic and create over all feelings of well being.
