Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Texas. I received my Doctoral degree in Social Work from Capella University and my Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Social Work from The University of Oklahoma. I have been practicing in various therapeutic roles, primarily with children and families, for 13 years now. I love to help individuals who are struggling with their mental health, processing a past or current traumatic experience, dealing with grief/loss, navigating who they are or who they want to become, or simply needing support from someone who cares. When I am not in session, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, listening to podcasts, reading, watching TV or movies, or spending time on the water!

My focus is reconciliation. Healing is often achieved through us becoming reconciled with self and/or others. It can be a process that allows us to identify and modify our thoughts and behaviors. We are all a work in progress and rightly so as circumstances are constantly changing. I believe that each person should have an opportunity to express themselves in a safe, nurturing, judgement free zone. As we seek to gain an understanding of self and others, often we experience a shift in our processing. If you are stuck or it feels like you are spinning out of control like a hamster on a wheel, let’s talk about “it”.

Since 2012, I’ve walked alongside clients in the U.S. and India as they’ve navigated life's turning points—moments of doubt, discovery, and deep transformation. I believe life unfolds in many shades. It’s not always fair or predictable, but with understanding and acceptance, we can find meaning and joy in even the most unexpected colors. My experience spans working with children, young adults, college students, couples, individuals, and families across culturally diverse backgrounds. Whether it’s helping a teenager find their voice, guiding a couple through conflict, or supporting someone through personal growth, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space that nurtures insight and healing. I hold onto the truth that obstacles often carry the seeds of growth. My role isn't to erase life’s challenges, but to support people in understanding them, responding with courage, and growing stronger in the process.

My name is Graham Maxey. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1983, after graduating from the University of Houston/Clear Lake with a Master of Arts in Behavioral Science. I had noticed for many years that the primary problems people experienced in life were mainly due to living in a space of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that were "too small" to accommodate their well-being or their enjoyment in living. My goal as a counselor has always been to help clients "widen" the spaces they live in and let them have fuller access to all that their lives actually can provide for them.

I was called to this work because of my own struggles with depression and substance abuse, and, though I had to struggle in order to get where I am, I feel so grateful for my experiences. I have a passion for mindfulness and compassion in my work and like to incorporate deep breathing and other body-based techniques whenever possible because, frankly, these are things that have worked well for me! Welcome my friends. I’m a combat veteran and retired Army officer, a devout Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and experienced clinical psychologist. I want to get into the root causes of your battle and find ways to overcome, change, forgive, accept, and move upward toward the light. It may not seem like it, but the darkness will eventually lift, and the light will surely shine again. Life is a battle in the heart, and I humbly accept that I will be in my own battle or someone else’s battle for the rest of my life. Like the weather, our emotions are powerful. Many days the sun shines, but the rains do come and sometimes a destructive storm hits hard (divorce, the loss of a loved one, cancer, suicidal thoughts, et cetera). It's a battlefield. When it comes to the challenge of relationships, so often, it is ego (pride), self-esteem, and powerful emotions at the root of our conflicts. To understand these forces is the key to peace. Let's work through it! I have been honored to be in the field of psychology for 20 years since 2004. Through the years, more than half of my time was in the Army where I primarily worked with soldiers enduring anxiety, depression, trauma, Traumatic Brain Injury, and all the other usual suspects of psychological distress. It is time well spent to analyze our guilt, fear, worry, shame, pain, heartbreak, addiction, identity conflicts, and sorrow. I’ve also worked in the prisons for many years with some extreme situations (i.e., murder, severe mental illness, rape, child molestation, drug kingpins, gang leaders). So, no matter what your circumstances are, never quit and never give up! Survival is a noble plight!

Hi, I'm Amneris Rosario – I'm glad you're here. Let me guess: You've been thinking about therapy for a while now. Maybe months. Maybe years. But something kept stopping you – too busy, too expensive, "it's not that bad yet," or maybe just the fear of opening up to a stranger who might judge you or not really get it. Here's what I want you to know: You're already doing the hardest part by being here. You don't need to wait until things get worse. You don't need permission to ask for help. And you definitely don't have to figure this out alone. That's literally what I'm here for. As a board-certified bilingual therapist (MS, LMHC, LPC, NCC), veteran, and founder of Time to Talk Mental Health, I've spent over 9 years supporting 700+ clients through trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions that felt impossible. I've worked everywhere from crisis units and corrections facilities to refugee shelters and quiet therapy rooms – supporting people through chronic mental illness, personality disorders, abuse, addiction, ADHD, OCD, and some of the hardest moments of their lives — and here's what I know for sure: Healing doesn't require perfection. It requires honesty and someone who actually gets it. You're not broken. You're dealing with hard things. And you deserve support that feels supportive – not cold, not judgmental, not like one more thing you're supposed to "fix" about yourself. I specialize in: • Trauma & PTSD • Anxiety & Depression • Self-Sabotage & Repeating Patterns • Complex PTSD & Personality Disorders • Life Transitions • Relationship Issues

Hi, I’m Kumalo—Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), behavioral health leader, and Army veteran with over 20 years of experience helping individuals overcome challenges and reconnect with their strengths. My therapeutic style is structured, grounded, and compassionate. I use evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and EMDR to support adults navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship struggles. I work with individuals who are often juggling high-pressure careers, caregiving responsibilities, or the complex aftermath of traumatic experiences, especially military service members and veterans. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’re operating on autopilot. Together, we’ll slow things down, clarify your goals, and build practical strategies for healing, growth, and renewed purpose. Therapy with me is collaborative: I’ll challenge your thinking while also giving you the space to reflect, reframe, and rebuild. I earned my Master of Social Work from Fayetteville State University and am board-certified in Clinical Social Work. Before joining Grow Therapy, I led behavioral health programs across military and correctional settings—designing systems of care that work. Now, I bring that same level of commitment to every client I serve. If you're ready to start showing up for yourself the way you've always shown up for others, let’s connect. You don’t have to carry it all alone.

Are there things in your life that you want to change to be happier, feel better about yourself, come to terms with things from the past, or have better relationships with others? If you do, I believe that counseling can help you achieve the kind of life you want to have. I'm a clinical psychologist specializing in treatment of post traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression. I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist and I am trained in multiple types of therapies. I'm originally from Oregon, but I have spent most of my adult life in Texas and a few years overseas in Asia and Europe. In addition to private practice, I have been a military psychologist, Veterans Affairs psychologist, PTSD clinic director, Psycho-Social Rehabilitation clinic director, and adjunct clinical assistant professor at UT Health medical school, as well as participating in major research projects in treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder. I believe that therapy is a science as well as an art, and I have found that my knowledge of clinical research can greatly improve the results of counseling. I have found that counseling can be very effective at helping people make the kinds of changes that they desire in their lives, help them to have a healthier sense of self, more satisfying relationships with others, and a better quality of life. I'm confident that you can meet your goals with a bit of work and the right treatment plan.

Trauma hurts. It can be sudden, life-altering and overwhelming, or chronic, subtle and nearly unnoticeable, but either way it can change the way we think about others, the world, and unfortunately, ourselves. Dealing with the aftermath—changes in our relationships, lashing out toward self or others, feeling nothing and/or everything all at once—is sometimes as hard as the initial event, especially when society, friends and family and our own minds tell us to “just get over it.” Worse, sometimes we aren’t even sure where the trauma came from in the first place, leaving us confused and even feeling hopeless. If you could just “get over it,” you would, but sometimes the brain simply cannot process traumatic events without help, and this is why trauma therapy exists. :) I'm an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Texas. I've been in practice for nearly 15 years and have been doing EMDR therapy for 13 of those. I specialize in helping teens and adults process trauma of all kinds. My goal is to help my clients gain the skills needed to process and adapt to traumatic memories, and then allow them to do so in a safe environment. I teach them how to build boundaries and follow through, and to treat themselves with self-compassion rather than judgment and harsh expectations. Trauma doesn’t have to ruin (or run) your life. If you’re hurting, please know I’d be happy to help in any way I can.
