Hello Friend and welcome to my practice, Pragmatic Solutions Therapy, PLLC!
I am an experienced psychotherapist with over 20 years. I've worked in private practice and in the clinical hospital setting and now own my a thriving practice. I have passion, dedication and ethical standards to which I uphold in every session with every client. My basic mantra in life is simple: Drop the baggage and take the value. Step out of that box and if you can't change the problem, then change the way you see it using a different perspective.
Everyone at one point or another in life experiences a host of unbearable stressors which may leave one feeling stressed or 'out of sorts'. We may even describe that feeling as 'lost in a web of frustration', which feels like anxiousness, fatigue, and perhaps sadness; as if our unique threshold has been completely depleted.
Feeling anxious is normal. Feeling stressed is actually a sense of determination to gain back control, though if comes with temporary tiredness. Anxiousness is innate in all of us. What's not healthy is when stressors cross the threshold of your wellbeing and you stay stuck there, feeling uncomfortable, which interrupts our daily habits/responsibilities to 'fix things' and you are left in solitude.
I’ll help you navigate the web of confusion to find empowerment.
Respectfully, Monica Pina

🧭 // APPROACH
Your holistic transformation starts now.
Clients consistently praise my empathy, perceptiveness, practical guidance, and measurable improvements they experience, with one noting: "Tim is empathetic and encouraging. I'm on session 7 seeing improvements. 10/10."
Therapy should feel like a cozy tea-time chat in your living room, creating a safe space where intimacy and authentic connection flourish naturally.
I bring a holistic, modern approach rooted in CBT, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care, supporting individuals through dating, marriage, or healing from the past. I tailor my approach to your unique story, helping you find peace, reconnect, and build lasting relationships, whether you're feeling distant, unheard, or weighed down by the past.
🙏 // GRACE POLICY
Please respect my 15-minute wait policy. Sessions don't always start exactly on time due to back-to-back appointments.
More than likely, I will be in the waiting room once you join, in a session, transitioning the prior client with grace, before I prepare for you.
As clients can be a few minutes late without issue, practitioners deserve similar grace.
🧘🏽♀️ // SERVICE & CARE BOUNDARIES
I DO NOT provide docs (e.g., dr. notes, signatures, letters) for lawsuits, legal cases, work accommodations, emotional support animals, or leave requests, this includes FMLA, unemployment, lawsuits, etc. If that's a need, i'm not your fit.
Furthermore, I don't tolerate any disrespect or intentional and malicious transference towards me in session. I am here to process your bad days and equip you with the perspective, tools, and frameworks to navigate them, not receive the brunt of them. I will abruptly stop a session in which I feel threatened, disrespected, or abused and report the client to Growth Therapy (or law enforcement). My work is my livelihood and passion. I will protect it and myself.

Hello! My name is Guadalupe, I am a Catholic Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience working with diverse populations. My approach to therapy entails collaborating with you as an individual and working together to navigate towards the root of the issue. During our sessions, you are in control – we will only go as far as you are willing to. However, as your therapist, it will be my duty to carefully prod and inquire in certain instances to help you in your healing process. This may sound uncomfortable, even scary, but I hope you learn how discomfort may bring changes to your emotional stability, general happiness, and overall mental state. If you have come this far to search for a therapist then there is a part of you that is conscious of a living experience absent of these burdens: it is that same part that believes and hopes on that version of you. Consider then listening to that inner voice that is yearning to be known.
¡Hola!
I'm Kemi, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes real change starts with feeling truly heard. Since middle school, I've been the person others turn to for encouragement, so becoming a therapist felt less like a career change and more like coming home to it. I bring warmth, honesty, and a steady presence into every session, paired with clinical training in CBT, Internal Family Systems, and culturally responsive care. My goal isn't to hand you a script — it's to help you see your own strength clearly enough to use it.
My passion is helping clients find the strength within themselves to create lasting change. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have spent majority of my time working in intensive settings like inpatient psychiatric units and emergency departments, providing compassionate care during moments of crisis. I am committed to walking alongside my clients, offering them the resources and support they need to build a life they truly value.
My practice is located in Portland, Texas. Much of my work focuses on trauma. This ranges from car accidents, to childhood trauma, to abusive relationships, combat veterans and PTSD. I respect my client's opinions on their treatment and work closely with them in treatment planning. I love it when clients share resources with me that have helped them outside of sessions, whether that be podcasts, books, etc. I work to incorporate these things into treatment. I'm very skilled at meeting a client where he or she is at, and I have a talent for coaching clients through the difficult parts of treatment to continue making progress and not become "stuck."

Hi, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas, and I feel privileged to support individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful change. With over six years of professional experience, I strive to create a welcoming, compassionate space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable showing up as their authentic selves.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Lutheran University in 2010 and later completed my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University in Dallas in May 2021. My passion for this work comes from a deep appreciation for the connections we share with others and the ways those relationships shape our lives and well-being.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a wife and mom who loves spending time with my family and our two dogs, Minnie and Annie. My favorite ways to unwind include watching Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings with my husband, getting lost in a good book, and singing and dancing in the car with my son. I also have a soft spot for corny jokes, so you may find that a little humor makes its way into our conversations, too!
I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling safe enough to be yourself, and I would be honored to be part of your journey toward greater connection, understanding, and emotional well-being.

Since the days of pigtails, I’ve been pulled by this strong force to access wisdom and connect with something higher than this tangible world. This gnawing passion has led me to study the power of the mind and how to create what our souls truly desire.
I’ve been blessed to study ancient technologies such as yoga and breathwork and am so passionate about sharing simple tools to effect real change.
I was trained in counseling at University of North Texas, receiving my Masters in Education. My favorite courses were transpersonal counseling and stress reduction through movement. Hi, I'm Attalie. Have you forgotten to take care of yourself? Do you often wonder what it would take to feel some sense of balance in your life again? We are faced with challenges and changes in life constantly. Making adjustments to pivot to meet the expectations of those changes often leads to feelings of overwhelm, disappointment, frustrations and a sense of depletion with no time to care for self. If you often escape, avoid, procrastinate or for that matter take on everyone else's issues except your own sense of wellness and health I am here to help empower you to develop and access your own inner resources and move toward self actualization and personal growth.
I look at mental health in a wholistic sense. I mix mindfulness and decades of experience in fitness to help you find what works for you to live your best balanced life and find the fulfillment you need to step into the alignment of your purpose. Developing a strong relationship with self; defining your boundaries, recognizing your value systems and how they pertain to your way of being in this messy world are the staples to grounding yourself mentally.
You are enough, you are deserving, and whatever you are dealing with now I'll meet you there. Let's work together to find tools that are intrinsically yours and get to a better you, so that each day is met with a sense of balance and well being despite the stressors in life.
My passion is to help individuals live their best lives. Drawing from my own experiences of overcoming unexpected and life-altering challenges, I recognize that such times can feel incredibly daunting. However, through awareness, courage, and the right skills, we can collaborate to navigate those seemingly hopeless situations.

I enjoy working with people to help them build a strong sense of self, encourage their confidence in relationships, and help foster a sense of calm and security in their everyday life. I enjoy helping parents navigate the many challenges that come our way. I believe people seek therapy for many reasons: adjustment to a new city or life situation, feeling overwhelmed or stuck, or problems with relationships. Counseling is a process that most of us could benefit from time to time at different stages in life, as it brings an outsider's perspective to events, we are faced with in day-to-day life in a nonjudgmental way.
