Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed out of Texas. I have my master's degree from University of Texas at El Paso and I've been working in the field since 2015. I have a background in medical social work with a focus now on mental health. I help people learn more about their mental health and develop skills to alleviate distress like self compassion.
First sessions can feel a bit challenging because it is a gathering of your history. I try and make this process smooth while also educational and validating. I also encourage asking any questions needed to feel more comfortable with the process moving forward.
I use evidenced based practice in a client centered approach. This incorporates a Solution Focused perspective with emphasis on Empowerment and Strengths. I also employ interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Family Systems.
My strengths would be my warmth and approachability. It can be very challenging feeling comfortable with someone instantly to the point of telling them your deepest concerns and emotions. I help make the process smooth and comforting. My approach is very kind even when discussing challenging topics such as change.
I work well with clients who have both depression and anxiety. All that is needed is a willingness to try and I can take over from there. This sets the strongest foundation to move forward and establish real change that has positive benefit.

What really stood out to me about Miss Espinoza is when we had our first session together she was so focused on helping me learning new coping and grounding strategies and how to use them to find solutions.

I really liked Miss Espinosa because she really listened to me but didn’t judge or try to fix it but she immediately started teaching me techniques to help me handle what to do when I’m feeling my emotions start to get too much and how to control it and how to express it properly so that my needs can be met properly.

I LOVE working with Rose. She listens to you and actually gives feedback that I am able to apply into my thought processes and actions moving forward for a healthier and better me. I cannot recommend her enough for her intelligence, warmth, and neutral understanding/ validation.
