My name is Elizabeth and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the states of Texas and Arizona. I am also a certified school counselor and transitioned to full-time mental health counseling after working as a high school counselor. I have been working as a counselor for 10 years, primarily in the school setting. I helped my students with issues such as family problems, academic struggles, relationship issues, trauma/abuse, ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, grief, and suicidal ideation. Before working as a counselor, I was an elementary teacher for 6 years. I have experience working with adults and adolescents. I love seeing my clients understand themselves better and improve their mental health. I feel comfortable counseling people from a variety of backgrounds, especially those whose backgrounds are different than my own. My entire professional career has been spent with a primarily Hispanic population, but I am comfortable with other cultures, as well. I am a big fan of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Solutions-focused therapy, but I try to cater my counseling to each client, so I often incorporate different counseling philosophies as needed. I believe my clients are the experts on their own lives and I want to work with them to improve their contentment, coping skills, and mental health. I believe it is important and beneficial to have a nonjudgmental, unbiased person to talk to. This is one of the best parts of counseling. I often use humor to lighten the mood when counseling. I find this helps grow my relationships with my clients. Congratulations on making the first step towards getting help. I would love to work with you.

Hello, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of Texas and Tennessee with 30 years of counseling and ministry experience. I began as a minister of the Gospel in the Southern Baptist tradition in 1993 working with the homeless to overcome the struggles of addiction and hopelessness in North Carolina and Tennessee. From there, I became a case manager in a rural oupatient behavioral health clinic helping the chronically mentally ill live independently outside of the institutional settings. As my family of five children grew, my wife encouraged me to join the military in 2007 and for the next 13 years we served alongside our Soldiers and their Families as a chaplain. There, I learned through experience how to work through the stress of multiple transitions, the unyeilding demands for time and energy, and the unjust nature of toxic environments. I learned how to support those who wanted to strengthen themselves and their relationships in these environments and to ultimately be at peace with who they are and who they want to be.
As I have matured in my training and become licensed in marriage and family therapy, I have found that I now specialize in using Solution Focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals identify their strengths and the beliefs that are guiding their behavior. With this knowledge, people can begin to choose who they want to be.
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. As a Licensed Professional Counselor trained in CBT and EMDR, I help individuals navigate trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, women's issues, and life's many transitions. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, supported, and accepted exactly as you are. Together, we'll explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you heal, grow, and create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Welcome! My name is Shelese Moaning and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I have been working with clients for about 7 years in various settings from acute psychiatric facilities to traditional online therapy sessions. I aim to create a space where you feel open to share the thoughts, feelings, and experiences that come with being human.
My work is directed by a desire to help people experience emotional growth with stronger forms of self-regulation. My goal is to help people establish the foundation(s) that will help them create and maintain greater coping skills. The strengthening of existing personal skills will help a person deal with the difficult events and stressors of their past more successfully. The creation of new skills is life-impacting. These new skills will help guide a person as he/she moves toward positive experiences while leaving the negative past behind.
I feel the relationship between a counselor and client is extremely important. My counseling style demonstrates compassion, affirmation, flexibility, and fairness. I personally feel that healing happens best within an environment of kindness, trust, and understanding. I have more than twenty years in the Education fields.
My work has consistently been with people with differing backgrounds, histories, and experiences. I have worked with people of different ethnicities, religious beliefs, sexual orientations, and mental health issues. I have worked with many individuals that have personally experienced or have been exposed to various forms of Trauma and Traumatic events.
Are you experiencing feelings of hopelessness or helplessness? Have you lost a sense of meaning and purpose? Are you overwhelmed with worry and racing negative thoughts that get in the way of normal everyday activities? Have you felt a loss of love or blocks in giving and receiving love?
At Cody Parker, LPC Counseling Services, my goal is to help you realize your true potential, through challenging lies and labels that keep you down and feeling helpless or hopeless. There is and will always be hope. Let me guide you in helping yourself to challenge strongholds and negative thoughts contributing to your symptoms. Let's work together to gain control of your thoughts and accept your true value and worth.
I strive to combine the best of scientific evidence-based approaches with a faith based Christian worldview. I provides professional therapy through teletherapy services from my virtual office, reaching clients no matter where they are in Texas. I work with couples that are experiencing relational issues including adulteries/affairs, communication issues, and general strengthening of relationships. Individual issues such as anxiety, depression, impulse control issues, anger management, and trauma.
Sometimes we feel stuck and overwhelmed in our current life situations and need to talk to someone who understands, can meet us exactly where we are, and will sit in the trenches with us as long as needed. This is what I do. I help individuals manage chronic mental health conditions, and also assist clients who are having difficulty managing or resolving problems of everyday life. I will be your advocate, place your needs and comfort first, always, and provide you with a safe place to heal and resolve the problems that you are ready to tackle. We will also dive deeper into addressing the root causes in order to repair old wounds that continue to emerge in the present. We will work together on resolving these challenges to help you heal, feel more comfortable with yourself, and work towards a happier and more meaningful life.

Hi there! I'm so glad that you have taken the step to begin your journey to becoming the best version of yourself...
A little about me, I have a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kean University in Union, NJ. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington.
I have experience working with clients in a variety of settings and diverse backgrounds. I have worked within hospitals, residential treatment facilities, community mental health centers, non-profit organizations, schools, major health insurance companies, and private practice.
The past few years have been difficult for so many of us... It seems like any issues we had before the pandemic were put on hold and we were then faced with a brand new set of overwhelming issues to cope with! Now that it seems we are beginning to return to some sense of normalcy, there's finally time to focus on personal growth and healing.
I am a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth therapist who believes therapy works best when clients feel genuinely safe, heard, and understood. I strive to create a space where people can show up as they are without feeling judged, rushed, or expected to have everything figured out.
My approach is rooted in connection and collaboration. While I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic and nervous-system-informed techniques, and trauma-informed care into my work, I primarily work from a person-centered perspective, meaning I tailor therapy to each individual rather than taking a rigid or one-size-fits-all approach.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who may be navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, stress, or self-esteem struggles. Many of my clients are thoughtful, sensitive, high-functioning people who are used to carrying a lot internally and are looking for both practical support and a deeper understanding of themselves.
I believe healing often begins with having a space where you no longer feel like you have to hold everything together alone. My goal is to help clients feel supported while building insight, confidence, emotional resilience, and meaningful change in their lives.

Hello, I’m Dennis Alvarez, PsyD.
I believe counseling should both encourage and thoughtfully challenge individuals to move toward their fullest potential by addressing the mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of their lives. I hold a Doctorate in Psychology and a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am a licensed psychotherapist with experience across hospital, treatment, and private-practice settings.
Throughout my career, I have provided individual and group therapy as well as comprehensive psychological assessments to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, substance-use concerns, and life-transition stressors. My clinical background includes work in hospitals, substance-use treatment programs, and outpatient private practice, where I integrate evidence-based approaches within a holistic, person-centered framework.
I am also the author of When Heaven Was Silent: Integrating Psychology and Theology in the Garden of Gethsemane, which explores the experience of mental suffering through both clinical and historical perspectives. My doctoral dissertation focused on trauma and psychological adaptation, further shaping my approach to helping individuals understand their internal patterns, build resilience, and restore a sense of meaning and purpose.
In my work with clients, I emphasize helping people understand how and why certain thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns develop, particularly in the context of anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance-use histories. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment while also encouraging insight, personal responsibility, and growth. Hi, I’m Rachel Humphries, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, safe, and supported without judgment. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and down-to-earth, blending practical coping strategies with deeper emotional processing and self-understanding. I enjoy working with neurodivergent individuals, first responders, helping professionals, and clients navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, chronic stress, identity exploration, and major life transitions.
