Starting therapy can be intimidating and I am here to assist you taking that step. I love to see my clients grow into who they want to be and take joy in seeing them overcome obstacles life throw at them. I am able to tailor my therapeutic techniques to individual needs of clients. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Perinatal mental health, and more.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. I will be asking you a lot of questions during this session. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am able to tailor my skills with the goals you want to accomplish in a nonjudgemental way. Sometimes clients have a hard time knowing what their goals are and that is 100% okay. We will work together to get you where you want to be.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I provide for support for teens and adults navigating life challenges, anxiety/ptsd, expecting mother/postpartum, and those who are wanting to develop new skills. Everyone deserves a safe space to openly express themselves without fear of judgment.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a well known and studied practice that I have been utilizing for years to assist clients. With CBT I am able to help you navigate thought patterns that may be negative or unhelpful and learn that thoughts, feelings and behaviors affect one another.

Supportive

I use a non-judgmental approach and provide emotional support and encouragement to my clients. Clients are able to express themselves and build confidence during sessions.

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing to see exactly where my clients are in their season of "change". Sometimes people feel torn between making changes and things staying the same. With this technique we are able to dive in and resolve internal conflicts.
