I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over 12 years of experience helping individuals of all ages navigate life's challenges. I earned my Master's degree in Counseling from Lamar University and am passionate about empowering my clients to take control of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My approach is focused on providing support and guidance to help clients build resilience and achieve lasting positive change in their lives.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, relaxed atmosphere where I’ll take the time to listen to what brought you to counseling. My approach is easygoing and client-centered, so I encourage you to share your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we’ll explore your concerns and start to set meaningful goals that will guide our work together, ensuring that we’re on the same page about what you hope to achieve in therapy.
I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and emotions. With a friendly, approachable style, I make it easy for individuals to open up and engage in the counseling process. By listening attentively and offering empathy, I work collaboratively with clients to address their concerns and help them build the skills they need to create meaningful, lasting change.
I love working with clients who are ready and motivated to put in the work necessary for meaningful change. They are open to learning new skills, committed to self-growth, and willing to engage in the process of transforming their thoughts, behaviors, and emotional responses to create a more fulfilling life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In counseling, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and unhelpful behaviors. Through CBT, we work together to replace these patterns with healthier, more realistic ways of thinking, which in turn leads to improved emotional regulation and more adaptive coping strategies. This structured, goal-oriented approach empowers clients to gain control over their thoughts, feelings, and actions, promoting lasting change.
