If so, I may be able to assist you in your growth and development along your healing journey. I serve to empower my clients and assist them in working through and overcoming their mental and behavioral health struggles. I have 20+ years of experience in helping clients with recovery from trauma and abuse, stress, anxiety, depression, coping with addictions, and anger management. I will work with you to create an open and safe environment where your thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I appreciate you for demonstrating your worth and value as you begin your healing journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll begin with brief introductions, discuss confidentiality in the counseling relationship, and then move into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me design an individualized treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe we have all experienced trauma. Whether the trauma was a single event or multiple episodes, simple or complex in nature, and occurred in our youth or adult years, trauma frames our perceptions and affects our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. As such, trauma recovery is critical for ongoing health and wellness.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Sometimes we just need an empathetic ear to hear us. Sometimes we need a skilled professional to guide and encourage us along our healing journeys. At all times we need to be accepted for who we are in the present. I love supporting those who feel overwhelmed about their past, uncertain about their future, and stressed about their present circumstances. I enjoy helping others place their past in perspective, plan for their future, and empower them to grow in their present.

Jeff has been an incredible resource on my mental health journey and is incredible at his job. As someone who had never been to therapy before, working with Jeff proved to be seamless and has directly improved my mental health and interpersonal relationships. I hate to rate people's performance by number, but 5/5 doesn't begin to describe his skills as a therapist.

Jeff is a great listener and guides you. Memory like an elephant which is great, because that helps in your future crises to move on and how. Very soft spoken as he is wise. He allows that as a tool when your heart is so broken you can’t see or hear anything. He puts you on track. Yes, I would recommend him to anyone with issues. Mine was that my son has passed away.
