My name is Tiffany and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2021. Throughout my career, I have gained experience across a diverse range of behavioral health settings, including outpatient mental health clinics, substance use treatment programs, community health centers and integrated healthcare environments. I am passionate about supporting individuals through their mental health and recovery journeys, utilizing evidence-based approaches to promote wellness, resilience and lasting positive outcomes. My broad clinical experience has allowed me to work with diverse populations while developing expertise in both mental health and substance use services.

First session

The first session will be establishing a therapeutic rapport and outlining your personal goals for therapy. I will walk along side of you as I provide a person-centered recovery approach.

Strengths

One of the key strengths I bring to the counseling session is my ability to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. I am skilled at holding space for individuals as they process challenges, emotions, and life experiences. At the same time, I utilize a warm yet direct approach when needed, gently challenging clients to explore patterns, gain insight, and move toward meaningful growth and change. I believe that balancing empathy with honest, compassionate feedback helps foster trust, accountability and positive therapeutic outcomes.

Ideal clients

I am experienced in working with individuals navigating a variety of life stages and challenges, including family trauma, major life transitions, anxiety, depression, burnout, and relationship conflict. I support clients in processing past experiences, developing healthy coping strategies, improving emotional well-being, and strengthening interpersonal relationships. My approach is rooted in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their concerns, build resilience and work toward meaningful personal growth and healing.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

CPT is based on the idea that traumatic experiences can lead people to develop unhelpful beliefs about themselves, others and the world. These beliefs, often called "Stuck points," can keep individuals feeling trapped in trauma-related distress.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is an evidenced-based form of psychotherapy that helps people identify and change unhelpful thoughts, behaviors, and emotional responses. CBT is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected, and that changing unhelpful thinking patterns can lead to workable changes in emotions and thoughts
