Hi there! My name is Chinh. If you’ve reached my page, chances are that your heart has been broken, you probably just had the umpteenth argument with your significant other, or maybe you’re stuck in a frustrating cycle of self-doubt, low self-esteem, and overwhelming thoughts that never seem to let up. Maybe it’s all of the above! Whatever brought you here — I’m glad you came. Let’s work through it together. I grew up in a culture where mental illness wasn’t something you talked about. Emotional struggles were ignored, hidden, or minimized. I was taught that sharing feelings was a weakness — that being strong meant staying silent. That experience shaped me. Today, I’m passionate about helping people unlearn those harmful beliefs and start living with more freedom, clarity, and emotional honesty. I want to help end the stigma associated with mental illness. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico, and I hold a Ph.D. in Counseling. I’ve spent years working with adults, couples, and families — helping people reconnect with themselves and each other. My approach is strength-based and holistic: I believe healing doesn’t mean “fixing” you — it means understanding you, supporting you, and helping you build the life you want. Therapy can be hard work, but you don't have to do it alone. I offer a space where you can show up exactly as you are — without judgment. Let's rewrite your story together.

Hi, I’m Ayesha—a licensed professional counselor based in Dallas, Texas. I offer virtual therapy across the state, supporting adult individuals through life’s challenges. If you're feeling overwhelmed by low moods, intrusive thoughts, or body image distress, you’re not alone. These experiences can often lead to anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional fatigue. Many people suffer in silence, avoiding the deeper work around thought patterns—yet unaddressed, these patterns can fuel emotions like guilt, shame, and unworthiness, reinforcing a cycle that feels hard to break. Therapy is a space to gain clarity, challenge those beliefs, and begin your healing journey.

Everything is a struggle, even just trying to express a thought or a feeling. It's so hard to feel happy and free or enjoy certain moments when mental/emotional struggles make you feel physically weighed down. Stress, anxiety & depression all have the capacity to make you feel unmotivated and downright exhausted before you even start your day. It's important for you to understand the effects stress, anxiety or depression can have on you not only mentally/emotionally but physically as well. Let me help you work through those struggles so that you can feel free and enjoy life again.

Please note: Because of my role at the University of Houston (UH), university policy, as of Sept. 2025, prevents me from providing private counseling services to current UH students or UH alumni. This policy applies across all University of Houston campuses and programs. Hello and welcome— I’m Helen, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. Many of my clients wrestle with perfectionism, anxiety, or a quiet sense that something’s off, even if they can’t quite name it. Through gentle conversation and thoughtful questions, I help you uncover patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and reconnect with your strengths. We’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and how you can begin to shift toward a version of life that feels more honest, meaningful, and sustainable. Her professional calling and ministry of help have been shaped by both clinical training and lived experience with trauma. Maudlyn specializes in trauma-focused care, including intergenerational trauma, anxiety, depression, and mood-related concerns. She approaches healing as a scientist of the soul, helping individuals explore emotional, relational, and spiritual wounds, reinterpret painful experiences, and develop healthier internal narratives that restore safety and stability. Inspired by Jeremiah 8:22 and Psalm 1, Maudlyn integrates faith with evidence-based practice. She is EMDR trained and views this work as clearing emotional and spiritual blockages so wounds can heal and lives can become rooted, resilient, and whole. She walks alongside her folks with compassion, offering a space for reflection, restoration, and peace. Her folks are reminded they are not defined by the words of others, but by their Creator—my folks are a Designer Originals. WELCOME HOME!

I am passionate about helping people navigate the challenges of PTSD, depression, anxiety, and addiction. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside clients in community mental health centers, academic medical settings, and private practice, supporting them as they heal, grow, and discover what’s possible for their lives. I am also deeply passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge—I’ve taught college courses on addiction treatment and have led trainings for other therapists on how to provide effective, compassionate care. I earned my graduate degree from the University of Chicago. When I’m not in session, you’ll often find me enjoying a good book, trying out a new recipe, or enjoying quiet moments with my spouse and our two cats.

Part of what led me to become a therapist was my own experience of how difficult it can be to find meaningful, accessible support when you need it. Navigating my own mental health journey helped me recognize the importance of having someone who truly listens, understands, and shows up consistently. I became a therapist because I wanted to be that person for others, to help ensure people don’t feel alone or unsupported when they’re seeking help. Throughout my life, a wide range of personal and professional experiences have shaped who I am today and strengthened my ability to genuinely connect with others. I worked in a community mental health agency, where I gained extensive experience across multiple areas of mental health. Although the work was demanding, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve individuals in various capacities and settings. That experience helped shape my clinical foundation and reinforced my commitment to this field. Along the way, I have learned to embrace my own neurodivergence and mental health experiences and use them as sources of insight, self-awareness, and strength. I am a mother of three children, and my experiences as a parent have deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, advocacy, and emotional complexity. My oldest child is also neurodivergent and lives with complex congenital heart disease, which has required multiple heart surgeries. These experiences, along with navigating remarriage and a second journey through IVF, have given me a profound appreciation for uncertainty, grief, hope, and perseverance. They have also strengthened my capacity to sit with others through difficult, vulnerable, and emotionally layered experiences. I share this to give you a sense of who I am and how I approach therapy, and to reflect the values of presence, compassion, and authenticity that guide my work with clients.

Greetings to you and all With a wish for good health and peace in your life. My name is Sherby John. I have been working and learning along this journey, we call life, just as you have. It can be a journey filled with joy and struggle. Have you reached a point where it seems there is more struggle than joy or feel stuck in the muck that seems to only get deeper or harder to transgress? Then maybe it is time to find new paths and options by having a guide on this journey. Therapy can be a vehicle for change and development of workable tools to assist in continuing with this journey. Whether you are dealing with Depression, Life changes, Anxiety, Relationships, Trauma, or a new medical or mental health diagnosis, therapy can be a useful mechanism for support, discernment, and information. I would like to provide you with a safe and welcoming environment and space to relieve yourself of these stressors through working on alternatives to current reactions to triggers or stressors in the way of continuing your journey, your way and at your own pace. Come in. Lets Talk. Lets get to work.
