Maybe you found me searching for online counseling services or maybe you were referred here by a friend or family member. First and foremost, I wish you well. Life is full of challenges and we could all use a little help.
Currently, I am open to working with a small handful of clients online on Mondays/Tuesdays. My approach is inviting, and warm, and I use humor if/when appropriate. Working with a therapist should be tailored to meet your needs.
Some people need a safe, confidential space to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Other people prefer a more solution-focused approach. Working together, we will figure out what is best for you.
Please feel free to contact me. (Responses are typically in 48hrs)

Since I was 17, I’d always wanted to be a therapist. I learned that sometimes it takes more than just healing the mind in order to heal the whole person. That means that sometimes people need healing on emotional, psychological and spiritual levels. I then received two masters degrees, one in mental health counseling, and the other in the applied healing arts. Utilizing both these degrees has helped me to combine both traditional and alternative therapies into my work.
Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in western Pennsylvania. I received my master's degree from Westminster College (PA) in 2021 and bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University in 2018. I currently work as an LPC at a nonprofit outpatient mental health organization during the day, and see clients through Grow during the evenings. I enjoy helping others be the best versions of themselves and watching them be able to overcome life's toughest obstacles.
As a therapist, I focus on your inherent strengths and capabilities rather than solely on your challenges. By identifying and building on your existing strengths, we create a solid foundation for your growth and healing. I understand that everyone is on their unique journey. I meet you where you are, respecting your pace and comfort level. My goal is to support you in a way that feels right for you, ensuring that our work together is both effective and respectful of your current state. Learning to love yourself is a vital part of the healing process. Together, we will explore ways to cultivate self-compassion, self-acceptance, and self-worth. I will provide tools and techniques to help you develop a deeper appreciation and love for yourself.
I strive to foster a deep sense of empathy, both for yourself and others. Through our work, you will learn to understand and validate your own emotions and experiences, which in turn can enhance your capacity for empathy towards others. I place importance on acknowledging and validating your inner child. We will explore past experiences and emotions, providing the validation and empathy that may have been lacking. This process helps in healing old wounds and fostering a sense of wholeness.
My ultimate goal is to support your growth and development. Through our sessions, I will provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore, learn, and evolve. Whether you are dealing with specific issues or seeking personal growth, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way.
By focusing on your strengths, meeting you where you are, and promoting self-love, empathy, and inner child validation, I aim to help you grow and thrive. Together, we will work towards a more fulfilled and empowered version of yourself.

The most rewarding circumstances for me are helping clients to reclaim their strengths and their story, while working towards fostering a healthy environment of love and acceptance for their selves.
While my experiences have been largely based on trauma throughout my career, I am open to all clients and enjoy working with individuals from all backgrounds and circumstances. :)

Hi. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist in Pennsylvania. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and I've been practicing for 24 years. I strive to help find relief and lasting change within even the first session or two. This begins with the retainable concept of 2 simultaneous paths for clients...

2- How clients COPE in effective healthy ways?
Addressing and coping are central in my work.
It's like having a hornet's nest outside the front door of your home. At times, it's needed to cope with it by using a different door, putting ice on your stings, or allowing yourself a pause from taking on this trouble and finding some respite. Otherwise, it is needed to address the hornet's nest and identify and take action on what is under your control to do about it.
