About me

I am Chantele Mallory and I was born and raised in Philadelphia. My professional and personal life experiences have led me to be a therapist that is compassionate, empathetic and caring. My goal as a therapist is to help others overcome challenges and recognize the true value in themselves. I've supported individuals through many different challenges including navigating career changes, loss, anxiety, addiction and trauma. My approach is collaborative and I emphasize the importance of working together in order for therapy to be successful.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will discuss history, current challenges and your overall reason for starting therapy. A major component of successful therapy is your ability to feel comfortable. The first session is a time for us to decide if you want to move forward with scheduling a follow-up, which is where we identify specific goals for treatment. If there are areas that require a specialty focus, outside of my area of expertise, then we can identify other treatment options/resources. Please understand that the need to refer to a specialist is not a personal decision but a profession decision to stay within the ethical guidelines as a psychotherapist.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I've been told by past patients that I'm very understanding, welcoming and kind. My patient's have been able to identify growth areas and progress during our time working together. I've been told that I have the ability to create a sense of safety and security even through virtual platforms.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I prefer a client that is willing and open to trying therapy. I have worked with older adults in the past, however my best therapeutic relationships appear to be with with younger to middle aged adults.
