(she/her)
Welcome! I bring more than two decades of experience helping people improve their health, happiness, and overall quality of life. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, and for the past 13+ years I’ve supported clients through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. Before becoming a licensed clinician, I spent 13 years helping individuals reach their weight‑loss and wellness goals, which deeply informs the way I understand the connection between physical and emotional well‑being. My approach is holistic and grounded in the belief that mind, body, and spirit are interconnected. Together, we’ll explore the areas of your life that feel out of balance and work toward creating a sense of peace, alignment, and congruence within yourself.
In our first session, we’ll take time to understand what brought you to counseling and what you’re hoping to change or improve. We’ll explore the timeline of recent events, as well as important aspects of your family, relationships, and support system. I’ll also ask about your overall well‑being — including sleep, nutrition, daily activities, beliefs, and any health conditions — so I can understand the full picture of your life. This helps me tailor our work together in a way that feels supportive, holistic, and aligned with your goals.
I care deeply about your well‑being and create a space where you can speak openly without fear of judgment. I listen with compassion, offer honest feedback, and gently challenge you to grow into the strongest, most authentic version of yourself.
Life can change quickly — through health challenges, relationship shifts, work stress, or major life transitions. When everything feels different, it’s natural to question your direction, your identity, or what your future might look like. My role is to help you navigate these moments with clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of possibility. I take a holistic approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to help you adjust your perspective, tap into your strengths, and build a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and genuinely fulfilling. Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded in evidence‑based practices. Together, we’ll identify your goals, create a plan that feels achievable, and work at a pace that supports real, sustainable change. I support adults facing: • chronic illness or chronic pain • depression and anxiety • relationship challenges • ADHD • life transitions and identity shifts

Joanne has been working with me for a while now, she is so kind hearted, always accepting and when you need a good cry and can't she will definitely get it out of you! She is the best therapist, I have seen PLENTY! I have a BPD diagnosis and she is SO WONDERFUL at helping work through my wild emotions and processing them in just the right way. Highly recommend giving her a try if you struggle with any type of BPD, personality disorders, Bipolar Disorder, anxiety or depression and many more!

Joanne creates a safe space where I can openly share my innermost thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement. Joanne is empathetic, patient and kind to me, especially as I am very talkative plus tend to go off on tangents, often losing track of the original topic under discussion. Joanne can more clearly see connections and patterns in my thoughts and actions that I sometimes can't fully grasp.
