Have you been wondering if your current challenges are due to past traumatic life events? Do you struggle in relationships? If so, I may be the Therapist for you. I specialize in trauma therapy for teenagers and adults.
Many people often think trauma is only caused by violent crimes, acts of physical abuse, or natural disasters. They may also think because trauma happened a long time ago, it does not affect them in the present. These are a few of the myths about trauma. There are many types of traumas such as the sudden or unexpected death of a loved one, bullying, retaliation in the workplace, neglect from parents, infidelity, intimate partner violence, the witnessing of domestic violence and more.
If you or your teen is struggling with anxiety, depression, or life stressors, therapy with me can help with positive changes to strengthen self-esteem and confidence.
I am trained in EMDR and other trauma therapy approaches. My years of professional experience as a teacher and counselor, along with my lived experiences as a Black person allow me to provide empathetic regard while helping clients from multicultural backgrounds.
I am an LCSW with over 20 years experience as a front line clinician, supervisor and manager in the fields of substance use and addiction. I have learned over the years to take a flexible approach to patients, to "meet you where you're at." Every patient is unique, and my way of working with you is to collaborate on a treatment plan that addresses the issues that are of primary importance to you. Although I have learned a number of different approaches over the years, the therapy I provide has as its basis respect and a valuing of your unique strengths and gifts.
As a former school counselor with over 30 years of experience and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, substance use, and difficulties in achieving academic success. I am passionate about getting to the underlying cause(s) of your concerns. I congratulate you on wanting to take the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life and I am happy to help support and empower you in that process.
My work involves close collaboration with parents navigating the complexities of raising children and teens. Earlier in my career, I also supported clients dealing with weight management, body image concerns, and provided marital counseling to families in crisis.

Hello!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained my degree from Marywood University’s Graduate School of Social Work. I completed my undergraduate education at Cedar Crest College, with dual majors in Psychology and Sociology. I also hold post-graduate certificates in Gerontology, and Palliative/End of Life Care. I am pursuing my doctorate in social work in a program through Kutztown University.
I believe in building a solid therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy and respect using a variety of techniques, and building from a strengths-based perspective to help foster understanding, coping and change. My eclectic therapeutic techniques often include CBT, transformational and psychodynamic approaches, individualized in relation to each client’s need and provided through a trauma informed lens. I am experienced in individual, family, and group counseling.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. My hope is to provide a safe, nonjudgemental environment for you to discover yourself and to start on the road to healing. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
Best,
Christina
I am Jeff, like it says on this page. I love games of all kinds and dogs of all kinds. I sit crosslegged on chairs when I can and enjoy kneading dough for baking. I'm verbose and use words as if they were legos.
I have worked in hospitals, community mental health centers, a retirement home and now I am content to be in private practice. I have experience with crises, sudden life transitions and choices that seem impossible to come back from.
I'm familiar with being awkward and have experience being the outcast. I became a therapist because there were many times earlier in my life where I needed support and guidance from someone who could understand me without being judgmental or controlling. Being a strange enough person already, I never quite found someone empathetic towards my situation until meeting my first therapist - a literally life changing experience.
Even with almost 10 years as a therapist, I'm certainly not claiming that I'll change your life as a guarantee just because of who I am - a therapist helped me see that so much change came about by my own efforts over the years, change that you can also be empowered to pursue. I am the sort of person that will work in your interest, work for your health when it feels like illness gets in the way. If you happen to be someone or know someone that often puts others before themselves at the expense of wants and needs for themselves, then you may know me pretty well already.
Transparently, I am not using AI in any form to write anything you read here about myself or my methods.
Greetings! I'm Ed, and I specialize in supporting individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and substance abuse. If you find that your enjoyment of life's simple pleasures is waning or if the demands of everyday life feel overwhelming, I'm here to help.
My primary goal is to establish a solid working relationship with you, empowering you to make lasting positive changes. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and confidential environment where you can feel comfortable addressing your concerns openly.
In my practice, I draw upon evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, principles of Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness meditation. By incorporating these methods, I aim to guide you toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Together, we'll explore your unique circumstances and work collaboratively to develop strategies that promote personal growth, emotional well-being, and improved relationships. I'm dedicated to assisting you on your journey towards positive change.

I have experienced trauma, witnessed violence, anxiety, have been in an unhealthy alcoholic relationship and have been a sensitive being my entire life not understanding why.
My saving Grace has always been movement. I am committed to supporting individuals and families in addressing the impact of substance use and mental health, and navigating the complexities of recovery, and developing healthy boundaries that promote long term well being.

Hi, I'm a therapist with over thirty years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families and historically getting positive results. I tend to work with families with special members such as teens and seniors. I have always worked with teens as it seemed to be a population others found difficult, but I liked the challenge. Now that I am a senior, I better understand the needs of our demographic. I tend to utilize a Family Systems approach which sees the individual in a family context as the majority has grown up in some form of family, whether related by blood or not. I've also taught Marriage and Family Therapy through what is now Drexel University's Family Therapy Program and have offered professional Supervision as a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. By working with the client in a collaborative, goal setting manner, faster more positive results seem to be achieved.
Thanks for visiting, my name is Ashley. Do you often feel conflicted or dissatisfied with your position in life? I enjoy helping others to discover their core values and beliefs so they are better able to build a life they feel at peace with. I specialize in guiding others, especially women, to a place of confidence and self-assurance, so they are able to build and maintain healthy boundaries to ensure more fulfilling relationships. I help individuals communicate more effectively and assertively as they navigate the impact of daily stresses and more complex messes in their various roles and relationships.

I SEE YOU, WARRIOR.
The one everyone leans on — because they have no idea about the cracks you never show.
You’re the get-it-done, make-it-happen woman who shoulders more than most because letting people down doesn’t feel like an option. On the outside, you move through the world with strength and competence. Inside, you’re stretched thin — exhausted, resentful, and quietly wondering, “When is it my turn?”
I help women like you finally put down the armor without losing their power.
My approach blends psychology, neuroscience, and energetic law into a grounded, no-BS process that actually works.
This isn’t about just coping. It’s exploration — keeping what fits and rewiring what doesn’t.

Hi!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),based in NJ and have been practicing therapy for the past six years. I believe therapy is a space where your voice deserves to be heard, honored, and understood. My approach is warm, culturally aware, and grounded in genuine curiosity about who you are and what has shaped your story.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy learning about different cultures, getting lost in a good book, and unwinding with a great show—things that help me stay grounded and connected. I bring that same openness and presence into my work with clients.
Traditional talk therapy isn't always enough for a brain and body shaped by trauma or neurodivergence. I’m FranCina, a Level II Certified Complex Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), Board Board Certified Registered Art Therapist SM (ATR-BC®), Autism Specialist, and Yoga Therapist, licensed as a professional counselor in NJ and PA.
I don’t just sit and nod; our sessions are an active, compassionate conversation. Whether we are using Art TherapySM (ATR-BC®), Somatic Yoga tools, or Trauma-informed strategies, my goal is to help you move from 'just surviving' to feeling truly empowered in your own skin. If you’re tired of feeling stuck and want a therapist who 'gets' the complexity of your experience, I’m here when you’re ready.
I work alongside individuals who are ready to heal from trauma, reclaim their stories, and face life’s challenges with greater strength, clarity, and self-compassion. Whether you’re navigating the impacts of interpersonal violence, identity-related stress, anxiety, or transitions that feel overwhelming, I offer a grounded, collaborative space where all parts of you are welcome. Drawing from a blend of talk therapy and somatic approaches, I help clients reconnect with their inner resilience, cultivate emotional balance, and build skills that empower lasting change. Therapy with me is a relational process, centered on safety, cultural humility, and the belief that healing is possible.
