New to Grow
I have several certifications in trauma-informed treatment. My certifications allow me to specialize in trauma, attachment, nutrition, and somatic care. I have experience working with unresolved trauma, complex PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and much more. My approach is empathic yet straightforward. I'm not afraid to have difficult discussions and give honest feedback. Above all, I am down-to-earth and open-minded. I create a warm environment to help individuals overcome life's stressors.
Here are some things you can expect from your first session. I aim to gain a clear understanding of the client's needs and expectations of me as their counselor. I will obtain a background of your history and your current situation. We will also discuss the treatment plan and how to move forward in our sessions. The first few sessions will be building rapport and getting to know each other.
I am not the typical therapist. I believe that we are connected mind, body, and soul. I believe it is crucial to have all three in balance with one another. With that in mind, I prefer to employ a variety of techniques. Some of my go-to techniques are CBT-based; however, I also employ spiritual and humanistic approaches. I want to make my clients feel like they are being seen and heard. I have achieved a high discharge rate during my tenure as a clinician.
I work with adult individuals who are struggling with life stressors, whether it be work-related, family, or just personal issues they're struggling with in life. I also work with individuals who have PTSD or complex PTSD. I help them understand how to overcome anxiety and depression that they experience, along with other symptoms. I help my clients break down the way they view their relationships using attachment styles. This helps my clients get a better understanding of their relationships and how they respond to events and situations. I often assign homework to help clients identify symptoms and triggers that affect them in their day-to-day lives. I also provide techniques to help support the client in between sessions. I am willing to listen to my clients and adjust to their needs.
I have several certifications in trauma-informed treatment. My certifications allow me to specialize in trauma, attachment, nutrition, and somatic care. I have experience working with unresolved trauma, complex PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and much more. I focus on the client rather than a set of symptoms by using techniques that provide structured communication and processing. Providing a uniquely tailored therapeutic experience can get to the deeper layers, leading to the core barriers.
