(she/her)
Hi! I'm a African American provider in PA. I have a LPC and have been practicing for 20 years, however in order to be a good teacher, you must be a good student. I help people struggling with mental health disorders become the best versions of themselves. I am a certified CBT provider, however, I like to tailor each modality according to the client's individualized needs.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then, at your pace, we can explore specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with people for the past 20 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
I support individuals navigating overwhelming life transitions and emotional crises especially those who are used to being the strong one and don’t always have space to fall apart. As a Black therapist, I work with clients who are dealing with stress, identity, and pressure in ways that aren’t always understood in traditional therapy spaces. I help clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or at a breaking point find clarity, stability, and a way forward. I work with people in crisis who want more than just a place to vent—they want guidance, grounding, and practical support in making decisions.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical tools to help you navigate challenges with more clarity and control.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior (DBT) to help clients on their motivation to change and adapting behaviors to live a life they want. We will work to identify how your thoughts, beliefs, and expectations contribute to difficulties in your life.
