Hi, I’m Lesley. I am a licensed therapist providing therapy to adults in Pennsylvania and Delaware. I often see people struggling with what I call “reality gaps”, which is the space between the life you have and the life you want. The wider that gap feels, the more distress tends to grow. I have over a decade of experience working with adults and adolescents facing chronic depression, anxiety, attachment concerns, and relational conflict.

Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in the same patterns? You don’t have to navigate it alone. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 25 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and families create healthier relationships, manage anxiety, and build emotional resilience. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Ecosystemic Family Structural Therapy (EFST) to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify negative or recurring thought patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or emotional challenges, and develop practical tools to create lasting change. Whether your child is struggling emotionally, your teen feels overwhelmed, or your family is facing challenges in communication or connection, therapy can provide support, clarity, and effective strategies for growth and healing. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but meaningful change is possible. I look forward to supporting you and your family on that journey.

I am a licensed therapist with 8 years experience supporting individuals with navigating the day-to-day and life transitions in the midst of experiencing anxiety, depression, and other challenges. I utilize talk therapy and operate from a person-centered approach to help form a trusting relationship where you feel safe and comfortable opening up. I like to consider my approach to therapy eclectic. Each person has different needs and what works for one does not work for all. I like to be creative with each of my clients and find the treatment modality that will work best for them and their situation. I personally have struggled with my own anxiety and panic attacks since I was a child. This is what led me to want to be a therapist to help others.

Are you struggling to remain psychologically flexible in an ever-changing world? Psychological flexibility means contacting the present moment fully as a conscious human being and based on what the situation affords, changing or persisting in behavior in the service of chosen values. I work with clients to address a variety of behavioral, social, and emotional problems, including mood and anxiety disorders, codependency, life transitions, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, ADD/ADHD and Autism. Being a veteran of the United States Air Force I value helping military family members and veterans with transitional issues as well as other concerns. I have experience working in addiction treatment and enjoy working with individuals in recovery to address their underlying mental health concerns.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS) with over five years of experience supporting people through cancer, serious illness, grief, and loss. As a two-time breast cancer survivor myself, I bring both professional training and personal understanding to this work, not because I have all the answers, but because I know that no two experiences are the same. If you're facing a cancer diagnosis, navigating life after treatment, living with chronic illness or chronic pain, grieving a loss, or caring for someone seriously ill, you don't have to carry that alone. I work with family caregivers as well as the nurses and healthcare professionals who carry this work every day. My approach is warm, grounded, and deeply human, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment. Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and neither does healing. Whether your loss is recent or resurfacing years later, whether you're newly diagnosed, deep in treatment, in survivorship, or supporting someone you love through it all, you deserve a space that is entirely yours. A place to say the things you can't say anywhere else. I see clients via telehealth across Pennsylvania.

I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist with over 30 years of experience in guiding individuals through life’s most challenging moments, including struggles with depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, family conflicts, and developing coping skills. I am deeply committed to empowering clients through a culturally and spiritually integrated approach that centers around the Alternative Christ-Like African Thematic Therapy (ACLATT) model. ACLATT is a unique therapeutic model I developed specifically to support Christian clients of African descent. It integrates Christian values with African principles, providing a holistic, culturally sensitive healing experience. This approach emphasizes identity, love, faith, and hope, helping clients recognize their God-given potential and fostering a strong sense of purpose. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, supporting them in reframing perspectives and developing practical coping strategies. My work is rooted in the belief that “Being precedes Doing”—by understanding one’s identity in Christ, clients are empowered to realize their gifts and purpose, which enriches their actions and overall well-being. Whether working with individuals, families, or couples, I am committed to helping clients achieve emotional healing, spiritual growth, and lasting transformation aligned with their cultural and spiritual values.

Hi! Since 1991, I have worked with individuals across outpatient and inpatient settings, in homes and schools, and now through telehealth. I have assisted people with a variety of challenges--whether related to depression, anxiety and stress, panic, obsessions and compulsions, trauma. behavioral control, self-esteem, substance use, life transition, and other issues. I believe in "possibilities thinking", goal setting, active strategizing, and frequent accounting of progress. As a long-term therapist, therapist and program supervisor, and college psychology professor, I am well acquainted with many therapeutic approaches; however, I am somewhat partial to cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation and mindfulness, and solution-focused treatment. I am also formally EMDR-trained, which can be a very helpful tool for trauma. There are many therapy options and providers--whomever you select, I wish you the best. Remember--it’s your life, your journey … make the most of it! Sincerely, Rick NOTE: My current availability will typically be on Sunday mornings, select weekday evenings at 7 or 8 pm, various times on Fridays, and also per arrangement. NOTE: I am accepting ONLY adults, ages 18 to 64 years. NOTE: I am offering only 1:1/individual therapy (no direct family or couples' sessions). NOTE: I do not engage in any court-ordered treatment. NOTE: I am interested in conducting therapy, not doing work-mandated, IEP, or other (e.g., Disability, Drug & Alcohol, or Mental Competency) evaluations. Welcome, I’m Ben, a licensed counselor in Pennsylvania. I’m passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and regain a sense of balance in their lives. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each person’s unique story. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, helping them find safety, empowerment, and hope through the healing process. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and person-centered therapy to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and offer EMDR therapy virtually, providing clients with an effective way to process traumatic experiences and reduce distressing symptoms from the comfort of their own space. While trauma work is a key focus, I welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, I aim to create a supportive environment where you can explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.

If you are ready to make positive changes in your life I am here to help with that journey! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters from Holy Family University in 2016 and I have done my internship working with children and young adults on the Autism spectrum. Since then I have worked with children, teens, and adults in many settings such as individual, couples, family, and group therapy with various goals. Now I focus on individual therapy with the adult population on many different concerns whether that be life style changes, self-esteem, work/life balance, relationships, trauma, stress management, anxiety, depression, etc. My approach to therapy is person centered (you led the way in terms of what you would like to address in therapy). I like to teach relaxation techniques such as deep breathing and mindfulness as well cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) as a way to help you identify triggers, emotions, thoughts, and behavior so you can learn how to reframe thoughts, manage emotions, and modify behaviors.
