New to Grow
My approach is client-centered, recognizing that every person's experiences, strengths and goals are unique. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients develop practical coping skills, increase self- awareness, and create healthier patterns of thinking and behavior. Together, we'll build resilience, strengthen confidence, and work towards a more balanced, meaningful and fulfilling life. "We can't change the storm, but we can steady your ship"
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong foundation for therapy. We'll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring your goals and identifying the areas of your life you'd like to strengthen or change. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and decide whether we're a good fit. I believe therapy is a choice and a collaborative process. My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged. Together we'll work towards meaningful growth, practical solutions, and lasting positive change at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach is client centered, meaning I believe therapy works best when it's tailored to your unique experiences, strengths and goals. Using cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based techniques, I help clients better understand unhelpful thoughts, behavior patterns, develop coping strategies, and build confidence in creating lasting change.
My ideal client is someone who is overwhelmed and or tired of dealing with anxiety and or overthinking thoughts or behaviors that are affecting their quality of life. My ideal client may or may not have tried therapy before and are wanting to do something different and work with someone that that is willing to aid in helping to facilitate changes and not promote feeling stuck.
