Do you feel overwhelmed by life’s constant demands? Are anxiety, intrusive thoughts, self-doubt, or low mood making it difficult to feel like yourself? I’m here to help you navigate difficult times and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe healing begins with a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship—one grounded in compassion, respect, and personalized care. I work with adults ages 18 and older who are experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship concerns, or major life transitions. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan that honors your unique strengths, values, and lived experiences. My approach is warm, active, and collaborative. I draw from person-centered, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, and solution-focused therapies, as well as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety-related concerns. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical tools for navigating challenges, and build on the strengths you already possess. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences with honesty and curiosity. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to help you develop greater self-understanding, resilience, and the confidence to create a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.

First session

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you’re sharing your story with someone you have never met before. In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope might change. I’ll answer any questions you have about the process, and together we’ll begin identifying goals and deciding how I can best support you. You never have to share more than you’re ready to share.

Strengths

I bring warmth, empathy, and authenticity to my work, creating a safe and accepting space where you can feel heard and understood without judgment. I listen not only to what you say, but also to the emotions and experiences beneath your words. Through genuine connection, active listening, and unconditional acceptance, I strive to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you can feel comfortable being fully yourself. I feel honored to walk alongside each client through their healing process. My hope is that therapy provides you with a space where you can better understand yourself, develop greater resilience, and move toward a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and genuinely fulfilling. One of the greatest inspirations in my work is witnessing clients grow and heal—to see them move through fear, hurt, and uncertainty toward hope, confidence, and a greater sense of happiness. I’m continually moved by the courage it takes to trust the therapeutic process and share thoughts, feelings, and fears that may have been difficult to express. Seeing clients recognize their own strengths and grow into more confident, authentic versions of themselves is deeply meaningful to me. Their willingness to do this work not only inspires me as a therapist, but also challenges me to continue growing, learning, and becoming a better therapist myself.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is someone who is ready to become curious about themselves, willing to explore patterns that may be holding them back, and open to developing new ways of responding to life’s challenges. You don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. We can start wherever you are and work together toward greater confidence, self-understanding, and a more fulfilling life. I work with individuals who may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, including everyday worries or social anxiety, or who are struggling with depression, low self-esteem, self-doubt, or a lack of confidence and assertiveness. I also enjoy working with people navigating relationship or interpersonal difficulties, major life transitions, and the challenges that can come with change. I have a particular interest in helping clients who experience obsessive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, or OCD-related concerns. Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, yet may find themselves caught in patterns of worry, self-criticism, avoidance, or doubt that make it difficult to feel confident and fully engaged in their lives.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We will look at how your thoughts, feelings, and actions connect. Together, we will spot unhelpful thoughts about yourself and the world. We will practice shifting those thoughts to more realistic ones. This new habit will change how you see other people and help you build healthy habits for personal growth.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

We will use DBT skills to help you handle intense emotions and stay grounded during stressful moments. You will learn practical ways to navigate hard situations and communicate better with the people in your life. For example, we will practice a technique called STOP (Stop, Take a step back, Observe, and Proceed mindfully), which helps you pause and choose your response instead of reacting on pure impulse.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you relate to difficult thoughts and emotions with greater acceptance and less judgment. Rather than avoiding discomfort, we make space for it while exploring what truly matters to you. Together, we’ll identify your values and take meaningful steps toward your goals—even when difficult thoughts or feelings come along.
