My style of therapy is one of an eclectic approach that allows me to utilize appropriate interventions based on the needs of each person. I have worked with adolescents and adults in residential/crisis treatment centers, colleges, community mental health facilities, and substance use treatment centers. I have experience with clients diagnosed with severe mental illness, substance abuse, trauma, intellectual disabilities, anxiety, and interpersonal issues. I work with individuals ages 14 and up, who are either coming to therapy for the first time or would like to continue therapy to work on their personal goals. I am a Licensed Social Worker who is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life changes, develop healthy skills, and feel empowered to achieve their personal goals. I work with clients to identify patterns, behaviors, and thoughts that are negatively impacting their lives through a person-centered and strengths-based approach.

I can see clients virtually that live in PA.

First session

Clients can expect to be prompted to share background information about what is bringing them to therapy now, describe factors that influence them (school, relationship, family, job, etc), and formulate goals for treatment.

Strengths

My biggest strength is being empathetic, encouraging, and validating of client's strengths. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I have experience working within various systems and use that knowledge when working with an individual to think about their intersectionality with systems/identities and how this impacts their life.

Ideal clients

I love working with clients who are navigating life adjustments, relationship issues, work stress, and family dynamics. My clients are open to discussion and willing to reflect, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious.
