New to Grow
Hi I am Elizabeth. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. While I have supported clients across all age groups, I currently work primarily with adults facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, grief, illness, and relationships. My focus is on helping clients navigate life's difficulties with a practical, strength-based and solution-focused approach. I emphasize the here and now, exploring how past experiences, habits, and patterns of thinking may hold us back. I view therapy as a partnership, working together to build skills and achieve meaningful goals.
Our first session focuses on talking through the challenges that led you to therapy, and developing goals to guide our work together.
I have worked in the behavioral health field for more than 25 years, in a variety of settings. My experience helps us as we try to develop an understanding of the challenges at hand, and develop a working plan for our sessions to maximize our time together and help you achieve your goals with efficiency.
My ideal client is one who is ready for honest and open discussion of the challenges they are facing, and who is willing to develop new skills to achieve their treatment goals. Humor is often incorporated into treatment, because it can promote the partnership that is integral to making movement in therapy. Clients should feel comfortable in our work together.
