Hi, I'm Jill. Thanks for stopping by. I've been licensed in Ohio since 2002. I earned my Bachelor's from Ohio University in Athens and my Master's from The Ohio State University in Columbus. I have experience in both mental health and addiction treatment. I truly love what I do! I like to bring a positive, solution-focused approach to therapy. I understand how hard it may be to take that first step to reach out for help. I want to hear your story and what has been going on with you so that you feel heard and supported. I provide education about how the brain and the body work together (and against each other at times!) Life can be overwhelming-you don't have to go through it alone. Let's get started today.
I have over 14 years of experience walking alongside clients during their therapeutic journeys. I’m a compassionate and client-centered therapist dedicated to supporting individuals and couples, as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach integrates evidence-based practices, therapeutic techniques, and faith-informed perspective when desired, to promote emotional regulation, clarity, and growth. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped to move forward with confidence and purpose.
I am a trauma-informed Independent Couple and Family Therapist who holds space for the many intersecting factors that shape a person or relationship. I received my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University, along with a certificate in Multicultural Counseling. I also recently earned a certificate through The Creative Art Therapy in Trauma - Informed Creative Art Therapy.
As a queer, neurodiverse and second-generation Martinican American, I understand the importance of culturally responsive and affirming care. My approach is person-centered and grounded in collaboration, consent, transparency, and honesty. These are essential in building trust and creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel supported from the very beginning.
As a neurodiverse therapist, I work with your brain rather than against it. Together, we explore multiple possibilities and pathways through difficult experiences in ways that are accessible, inclusive, and free from shame or internalized ableism.
I am trained in EMDR and FLASH therapy and incorporate evidence-based practices such as experiential family therapy. I also integrate painting, drawing, and play to support self-expression for clients of all ages and comfort levels with verbal communication.
I believe therapy is a place where you get to discover who you are not who you’ve been expected to be. We are shaped by our relationships, experiences, and environments, and there is no single roadmap for how to exist in the world. My role is to help you create your own. Clients who benefit most from my approach are open to reflection, willing to try new things, and ready to gently stretch into the discomfort that often comes with growth.
It is an honor to walk alongside you as you build a life that feels authentic, grounded, and truly yours.

I work with adults age 20 and over, and people often describe me as accepting, empathetic, and real — with a sense of humor that helps therapy feel approachable and genuine. My goal is to create a space where you feel both supported and challenged as you work toward your goals.
My approach blends humor, honesty, and evidence-based strategies to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns (like cognitive distortions) and promote self-acceptance. Whether you’re hoping to manage stress, improve relationships, or reconnect with your sense of worth, I offer a safe, affirming space to do meaningful work — and maybe even share a laugh along the way.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy. If something here resonates with you, send me a message — I’d be happy to talk about how we can work together.
I am a US Air Force veteran Clinical Social Worker. I served from 2015 to 2024 before voluntarily separating. During my USAF time I treated active duty members, their dependents, and veterans. I worked primarily in outpatient care providing 1 on 1 in person therapy, however would frequently be called to conduct emergency assessments for high risk cases involving suicide, homicide, domestic violence, and/or child abuse. I also spent several years leading a team in conducting substance abuse treatment as well as prevention programs. Through these experiences I have treated a wide range of mental health issues to include general stress/adjustment disorder to depression/anxiety/PTSD/grief.
I’m Michael Woods Jr., a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 15 years of experience. I help people who are dealing with stress, pressure, and feeling stuck—even when things on the outside look like they should be working.
My approach is real and straightforward. I’m not just here to listen—I’m here to help you understand what’s actually going on and give you practical tools you can use in your everyday life. I focus a lot on how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, and how to start responding differently instead of reacting on autopilot.
A big part of my work is helping people build awareness, take ownership, and develop the mental skills needed to handle challenges more effectively. I also bring in my background in athletics and performance, so there’s an emphasis on consistency, discipline, and doing the work—not just talking about it.
"My greatest strength is cultivating an atmosphere of deep safety, authenticity, and genuine connection where clients feel fully seen, understood, and unjudged. Clinically, I integrate evidence-based frameworks—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy—with specialized Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to process deep-seated trauma at its root. Furthermore, my specialized training as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) candidate enables me to apply a rigorous, systematic framework to unravel complex behavioral patterns and addiction, offering clients both an empathetic space and a clear, structured roadmap for sustainable recovery."

I specialize in helping clients that may be struggling with symptoms from trauma and complex trauma using IFS, EMDR, somatic work, and attachment work. I work from relational and trauma informed practices to help you accomplish your goals. I truly believe that you have the capacity and love within you to heal and reconnect with or find yourself.
Being a therapist isn't just my career—it's a dream I worked hard to achieve because I know what it's like to walk through difficult seasons and wonder if things will ever feel different. My experiences taught me that healing is possible, and they shaped the kind of therapist I strive to be: the therapist I wish I had when I needed one most.
I believe every person has inherent worth, even when life has convinced them otherwise. Your past may explain where you've been, but it doesn't have to define where you're going. Healing and forgiveness can coexist, and growth is possible without pretending the pain never happened.
My role isn't to tell you who you should be—it's to help you rediscover who you are beneath the anxiety, trauma, self-doubt, or life circumstances that have made you question yourself. I'll meet you with honesty, compassion, and a little humor along the way because I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to be fully human.
I believe the only way to truly fail at becoming the person you were meant to be is to stop trying. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you're returning after a difficult experience, my hope is that you leave each session feeling seen, supported, and more hopeful than when you walked in.
