Hello, and welcome! I'm so glad you're here! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio with 15 years of experience. I currently work with individuals ages 15 and over, but much of my recent focus has been on working with women dealing with anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is key to the healing process. Sharing your journey can be such a vulnerable experience, and it is important to me that you feel safe, heard, and respected. It is my honor to listen to you, challenge you, and support you.
Our first appointment will consist of a lot of "getting to know you" questions. I want to hear your story, your reason for seeking therapy, and what you hope to achieve in our work together. It will also be your opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the therapy process and what you can expect. From there, our future sessions would focus on working to achieve your goals.
I like to think that my strengths are my ability to meet people where they're at. There is no such thing as "one size fits all" in therapy, and I try to tailor my approach to each client individually so they feel heard, seen, and validated.
After starting my career working in college counseling centers, I've found a passion for helping others through life transitions--the high schooler figuring out what's next, the young professional starting their career, the young adult deciding to get married and/or have a family. Change can be difficult, but having support along the way helps ease some of the anxieties that come with it. I also particularly enjoy working with those dealing with anxiety and depression.

I really like how she's willing to meet me where I'm at and prioritize what's sensitive to me right now vs what we can work on at a later date. She has been receptive and it feels like she's really understanding what I'm saying without saying it.
