Hi, I'm Jill. Thanks for stopping by. I'm been licensed in Ohio since 2002. I earned my Bachelor's from Ohio University in Athens and my Master's from The Ohio State University. I have experience in both mental health and addiction treatment. I like to bring a positive, solution-focused approach to therapy. I will be completely engaged during sessions and want to hear your story and what has been going on with you so that you feel heard and supported. I do a lot of education about how the brain and the body work together and (how sometimes they can work against us!)

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session will be me listening to what brought you here in the first place, finding out what's most important to focus on for the time being, and for you to feel heard and supported. We can start working on what therapy will look like for you, the bounds of confidentiality, goals for treatment and what you hope to get out of your time with me.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked in this field as a direct service provider, a clinical supervisor, a mentor, and leader, I bring knowledge and experience to your situation that may not be easily found elsewhere. I've had clients say that I helped them get to the core of their issues while feeling like what they were going through was normal and that although it may be difficult to solve some of the problems at hand, they can do it!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Over the past 24 years, I have provided therapy to clients of all ages, across all socioeconomic backgrounds, with a variety of mental health issues ranging from mild to severe. I provide each client with a warm and welcoming environment that allows them to safely tell their story regardless of what that story may involve. I am here to support you in that process.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate CBT to show the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Together we can identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and create more balanced thinking. Learning and using these skills can help you feel better in your day- to day life.
