I am a licensed clinical social worker providing individual and couples therapy for adults navigating relationship challenges, grief and loss, emotional overwhelm and major life transitions. My goal is to help clients identify patterns that keep them stuck, strengthen boundaries and build practical coping strategies that support meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is structured, supportive and nonjudgmental, creating space where clients can process challenges and move toward healing and growth. For clients who wish to integrate faith into their counseling journey, I also offer Christian based counseling.
In addition to my therapy work, I bring several years of experience as a medical social worker, serving in hospitals, hospices and long-term care settings. This background gives me a deeper understanding of the emotional, relational and practical challenges that often come with illness, caregiving, grief and significant life transitions. I am licensed to practice in IL, NC and OH.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.
My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who's been servicing the mental health needs of individuals and groups for over 15 years. I graduated with my undergraduates in Psychology and Spanish, followed by my Master's of Science in Social Work, and ended with my Doctorate of Clinical Leadership in Social Work. I help people deal with day to day life challenges brought on by mental health concerns in our lives, sometimes due to trauma or significant events in our lives. My experience initiated working with multi-ethnic children in foster group homes, adults in the Dallas area, women, and more recently with active duty military personnel. I help my clients process and heal from trauma using various methods to meet each person where they are at. Providing therapy is a privilege for me. I'd love to see if I may be of service to you and your needs right where you are currently in you own life journey. Please schedule a session if you're interested in working together. I look forward to meeting you. Sometimes the best is yet to come.
I believe meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves rather than judging ourselves. As an experienced behavioral health clinician, my approach is honest, collaborative, and practical, blending evidence-based approaches with compassion, and authenticity. Together, we'll explore your experiences, develop practical tools, and identify meaningful changes that align with the life you want to live.
I work with older adolescents (16+), and adults from diverse backgrounds, having supported individuals across outpatient, community-based, and inpatient behavioral healthcare settings. While I welcome clients of all genders, I'm intentionally building a specialty in helping men navigate the unique pressures of masculinity, relationships, fatherhood, identity, burnout, life transitions, and perfectionism. My extensive experience working across a variety of behavioral healthcare settings has also given me firsthand insight into the unique challenges faced by healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists, paramedics, EMTs, and other emergency responders. I understand the realities of chronic stress, secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, burnout, and the emotional weight that often comes with caring for others.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I aim to provide a space where you feel heard, understood, appropriately challenged, and supported. We'll move at a pace that reflects your individual needs while working toward greater clarity, healing, and lasting growth.

Hi! I am a dually licensed therapist in both Florida and North Carolina. I began my education later in my adult life, and believed I had arrived late to the game. I believe in using a collaborative approach in helping my clients. I use evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Therapy, as well as Christian Counseling. I am supportive, yet direct with empathy, compassion and help you address the barriers in your life that are causing you pain and distress.

Do you feel stuck worrying, the thoughts never stop? Hi, I’m Kristin, and I work with adults (ages 18-40) facing stress related to managing responsibilities and navigating relationships.
I received my Masters from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I assisted others learn healthy ways to cope. I spend my free time with my family hiking, boating, and enjoying any other activity that involves being outside.
I look forward to helping you navigate life circumstances, as you become a more at ease version of yourself.
If your brain never fully shuts off, you overthink everything, or you feel mentally exhausted even when life looks “fine” from the outside, you’re in the right place. I work best with thoughtful, reflective adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, burnout, relationship patterns, life transitions, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together. Many of my clients are young adults, college students, and young working professionals who are thoughtful, high-functioning, and often spend more time in their own heads than they’d like.
My approach is conversational, direct, and insight-oriented. I don’t believe therapy is about me having all the answers. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you identify patterns, challenge assumptions, explore different perspectives, and uncover solutions that already fit who you are.
Clients often appreciate my open-minded approach, curiosity, and ability to create a space where they can think out loud without judgment. Therapy with me is less about being told what to do and more about developing a deeper understanding of yourself and how you want to move through the world.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience helping others cope with day-to-day stressors and past troubling events. Coping may involve identifying and reframing long-standing negative thoughts and assumptions or identifying our core values and goals, which can make frustrating or uncomfortable situations more manageable or put them into perspective. Seeing ourselves and our thoughts, issues or non-ideal behaviors for what they are can lead to greater self-awareness and the ability to offer ourselves the same compassion and understanding we give others. Our stuff is just that- stuff. Stuff we have accumulated along the road of life. Those things may impact us, but they do not need to control or define us.
Learning to see ourselves in this more neutral and accepting way leads to greater self-esteem and decreased self-doubt and negative judgement. This in turn makes change more possible.

Counseling Background:
As your counselor, I am here to support you in making meaning, creating comfort, and uncovering resources to help you be your best self. Taking an evidenced-based, client-centered, and existentially-informed approach, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where we can collaborate and work at your own pace to help you reach your goals. I work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds on issues including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, grief and loss, career transitions, and other mental health and life concerns.
Along with the many benefits of counseling come risks. Since counseling often involves discussing unpleasant or uncomfortable aspects of your life, you may experience feelings such as sadness, guilt, anger, frustration, loneliness, shame, and/or helplessness. Counseling allows you to process your feelings and often leads to better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and relief from feelings of distress. There are no guarantees of what you will experience. In order for you to achieve the most benefit from counseling, you will have to be engaged in your therapy sessions, committed, and do work outside of therapy to meet your personal goals.
In life, we all move through peaks and valleys. While the high points can feel expansive and full of possibility, the valleys often feel isolating, overwhelming, or unclear. My work centers on helping clients feel less alone in those difficult moments and more empowered to navigate them with confidence, clarity, and self‑compassion.
I believe that our deepest aspirations—love, peace, fulfillment, and meaningful connection—begin with the relationship we build with ourselves. As we strengthen that inner foundation, we naturally create healthier, more authentic relationships with others. Therapy becomes a space where this transformation can unfold with intention and support.
In my practice, I walk alongside my clients with a grounded, non‑judgmental, and compassionate presence. My first priority is to listen deeply. I want to understand what matters most to you, what you’re carrying, and how your experiences have shaped the way you move through the world. I strive to ensure you feel genuinely seen and heard from the very beginning, because healing grows from a foundation of trust and authentic connection.
Together, we explore your inner landscape—your strengths, your patterns, your hopes, and the parts of you that may feel stuck or unheard. Through this collaborative process, you can begin to reconnect with your sense of self, develop healthier emotional habits, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.
If you’re ready to step into a space where you don’t have to navigate the valleys alone, I’m here to walk with you.
