About me

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, trauma, communication difficulties, and everyday stressors, using a collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based approach. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first therapy session together, you can expect a welcoming, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. I’ll ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any relevant background that may help guide our work together. This is also your opportunity to share what you’re hoping to gain from therapy and ask any questions you may have about the process. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and building a path toward healing, growth, and a more balanced, fulfilling life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approaches are warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Client Centered Therapy. When working with individuals, I focus on helping the indivudal to become the best version of themselves, with children and adolecents, I focus on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help with emotional regulation or other stressors, and with couples and families, I focus on strengthening communication and connection.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward and are ready to gain clarity, build confidence, and create meaningful change. I also work with children and teens who need support understanding and managing their emotions, developing healthy coping skills, and building resilience to navigate stress or life’s challenges. In addition, I support couples and families who want to improve communication, strengthen connection, and work through conflict in a healthy, productive way. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where each person feels heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change in their lives.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have experience integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional dysregulation. My use of ACT is grounded in helping clients build psychological flexibility, which allows them to navigate difficult thoughts and emotions without becoming overwhelmed or avoidant.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and behavioral challenges. My approach to CBT focuses on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how these patterns influence their daily functioning.

Couples Counseling

I have experience providing couples counseling to partners navigating communication challenges, conflict, trust issues, and life transitions. In my work, I focus on creating a balanced, supportive space where both individuals feel heard, respected, and understood.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have experience incorporating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my work with clients who struggle with emotional dysregulation, anxiety, impulsivity, interpersonal difficulties, and high levels of distress. My approach is grounded in helping clients build a balance between acceptance and change, which is central to DBT.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have experience utilizing Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in my work with clients seeking practical, goal-oriented support for a variety of concerns, including stress, anxiety, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges. My approach focuses on helping clients identify their strengths and build on what is already working, rather than focusing solely on problems.
