Greetings, I am a licensed Clinical Therapist. I have been a therapist for over 10+ years. I provide brief therapy (30 minutes sessions and 60 minute sessions). I actively listen to assist clients to feel good inside and out by gaining insight into feelings of anxiety or depression. Through building rapport, I assist clients to build and increase self-worth/self-esteem, self-love and being empowered to utilize tools gained during sessions to manage feelings and address challenging areas of life (relationships, jobs, social interactions) to begin living the life client's truly desire to live. Schedule your first appointment and I will assist you in meeting the goals you have for your mental health and in your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I assist clients to adjust to changes within themselves, family, work, school, health, relationships, and grief. My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

The treatment is used to provide options for stressors. Multiple evidenced based tools (Problem Solving Therapy (PST), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for more severe issues, will be presented to client during therapy where client will use tools outside of the therapeutic sessions. Efficacy will be assessed when the client returns to session. By focusing on solutions, each session, client will receive additional tools that they can utilize to help manage symptoms so they can live their life and use the tools as a solution to their stressors.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

Sleep impacts daily functioning (mood, body, relationships). The treatment is used to provide the client with tools to assist with sleep. Sleep hygiene and patterns will be assessed while processing possible causes of sleep disturbance. CBT-I will garner tools that can be utilized by the client when not in therapy, to have client manage the symptoms caused by disruptions in sleep.

Grief Therapy

The treatment is used to help clients to manage the ebbs and flows of grief. Evidenced based tools will be introduced for client to move through the grief cycle.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The treatment is used to provide options to stressors. The way one thinks has a direct impact on how they feel and in turn will impact their behavior. The evidenced based treatment of CBT is used to provide the client with tools to assist with managing anxiety and depression symptoms. A base line of anxiety and depression symptoms will be assessed while processing possible causes of theses symptoms. CBT tools will be introduced for the client to utilize, when not in therapy, to help client manage the symptoms that are impacting areas of their life (relationship, work, activities...). These tools can assist with the client living the life they want to live.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

The treatment is used to provide coping skills for staying in the present moment.
