I received my Masters from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I assisted others learn healthy ways to cope. I spend my free time with my family hiking, boating, and enjoying any other activity that involves being outside. I look forward to helping you navigate life circumstances, as you become a more at ease version of yourself.
In our first meeting together, we will begin with a brief introduction. From there, we will explore what brings you to therapy. Together, we will develop a plan for what you would like to accomplish through counseling.
Having worked with active duty military for the last 4 years, I have experience assisting individuals through many life transitions. I also have deep empathy for why and how we behave, due to prior challenges we have faced.
I assist clients acknowledge how their thoughts impact how they feel and ultimately their behaviors. We work together to adjust thinking patterns to improve mood and actions.
I received formal training from the Wellness Institute to practice hypnotherapy. I lead clients through relaxation practices that allow them to access memories. Together we work toward healing by nurturing their inner child.
Parts of ourselves take over to assist when they feel needed. Together we will acknowledge what your managers, exiles, and firefighters would like to show you so they may relax and you can act from The Self, your true authentic self.
I have worked with couples for over 4 years. Mostly serving the military community, I am familiar with life transitions and how they affect relationship dynamics. I assist couples on connecting with one another and moving through challenges.
I use the information clients’ bodies are providing to assist them with finding the origin of the emotions they are experiencing. The body keeps the score. It’s up to us to listen to it and provide the support it needs to heal.
